Very close to 29. If traveling through worth the stop. I worked in town 3 days and found no reason to eat anywhere else. The Salads and Wraps are great and might be what they do best. Fish Sandwich was better than fastfood but average if rating on that maybe 3. Onion Rings are some of the best, not greasy and falling apart. I heard other people ask a table about their salad and they raved about theirs as well. Would like to try a burger but so far fresh is what they do best. So if you know what to order 5. Very Clean. I only got a to go orders so not sure about the service. What I experienced was good. If I would have eaten in and had good service would have made a 5

Eat here at least 2 times a week. The food is fantastic. Never have gotten any thing that was not good. Cannot beat the lunch menu.and the burgers are the best in Amherst and Madison Heights,very fresh and yummy there is no better place to eat at and the hospitality wow you feel like you are eating with family.why would you want to go to Mc.Donalds when you can go 30 seconds more and have an amazing meal.and believe me if you leave hungry, then that’s on you. This was my first time dining here. I ordered the catfish, fries, and fried okra. The fries were good however the fish and okra were overcooked. Nothing was seasoned and hadn’t any flavor. The catfish was thin and dry. The cocktail sauce was a bit too hot. On the upside: it’s a cute restaurant and easy to move around with my walker. The staff are super nice and helpful. The portions are huge. Since this was my first visit and it was late afternoon, I won’t write the Dogwood Cafe off. I will try them again the next time I’m in Amherst.
