We came across this restaurant by accident, on our way to the market. We ordered a few tacos with different toppings and they were all delicious. They came garnished with cilantro, and the plates were pretty, with some fresh radish slices, a grilled scallion and a grilled pepper on the side. My pepper was really hot! My husband’s was not hot. We also shared a side order of rice and beans and loved them. The (complementary) chips and salsa were really good too. I tried one of the other sauces, guacamole sauce, and it was yummy. Service was great. We’ll return, when we are in the area again.

Make this your destination for Mexican food. Staff is attentive, friendly and helpful when asked questions about menu items. We have lived on the Eastern Shore for over 20 years and tried many Mexican restaurants in Easton, Chestertown and Kent Island but this gem is our favorite now that we have discovered it. Food is absolutely delicious, well priced and we appreciate the portion sizes which are well suited for our appetites and dislike of over sized portions. We wish the folks who own and run this wonderful restaurant continued success. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

This place is AMAZING! ! Authentic food at more than reasonable pricing. The atmosphere and staff is above and beyond. Our server took the time to explain every question we had with a smile on her face. I truly can’t say enough about them. Las Maria’s should be around for a long time but I see them needing a bigger space rather quickly!! Great job guys!! #1 in my book.

We tried Las Marias last night for dinner. The fact we were here was mostly by accident – but we will be SURE to come here again and again. The food was prepared extremely well and the flavor was outstanding. I classify the food authentic in every way. The staff did a great job of keeping up with the crowd who was coming to this tiny restaurant. At one point every table was full and the take out line was growing, but the guy working the kitchen did not seem to be troubled – he cranked out our order and many others while we were there. The food was well prepared and we really enjoyed it. We will return.

They make their own tortillas (corn!) and chips. The salsa is on point. The staff are kind and friendly even when super busy. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The tacos are a little smaller than I thought they might be, but so cheap I had no qualms about ordering more. Did I mention the salsa? I took flan home to go because I stuffed myself silly. I’m going to follow them on FB to get updated on their specials. I hope to make the 20-min drive many times! The carnitas were so flavorful and tender.

It’s very good. Everything is fresh and very flavorful!!! My favorite is the chimichangas in shrimp and chicken!! The best part is the meat that is put inside is seasoned very well and hot when you get it. Some places put a cold, unseasoned, very bland meat inside the food but not here. Its a must if your planning to eat in Galena. I’m so happy they here a new variety outside of subs, cheesesteaks, or pizza…. no offense I love those foods too.

My buddy and I had to use the restroom, so we thought we would eat purchase something for the road. We ordered 2 empanadas but couldn’t actually stay to check the food or talk to the cook and cashier. They were friendly so we trusted them and ordered, came in, grabbed the bag and got on the road
