the food is amazing! it has tuns of seafood and delicious gumbo !! service was good, although at the time i went it was late and not crowded. for those on the popular keto diet, there are food choices that follow the diet but mostly salad and stake. still i would suggest. its greeeeaaattt. also sports are playing or something I don’t remember.

I really enjoyed my food during my visit here. I had the duck strips and waffle to start. The uniqueness was inviting, so I gave it a go. Simple, but pretty tasty. It came with a traditional syrup accompanied by a “sweet and sour” sauce. I followed that small gem with the “Catfish Atchafalaya”, a fillet of catfish with a generous portion of crawfish etouffee and a dinner roll. The etouffee was flavorsome and included greater than was expected amount of crawfish. The one thing that was a bit off was the catfish that I had ordered “grilled”. What I received was a fried catfish fillet. I honestly didn’t even say anything about the mix-up to my waitress as it still looked very good. I really enjoyed my food here and staff seemed super pleasant. I’d recommend this place to others, based on my first visit.

Very nice place. A bit upscale. Food is excellent. Service is wonderful! Tonight was the LSU/Alabama game and they had it playing on at least 4 tv’s. I most definitely recommend!

Beautiful view overlooking golf course. Service was excellent. 4 couples and were able to bring our own wine. There is also a lot of outdoor seating. My blacken redfish was excellent and the stuffed catfish was also, but did find the fish portions were smaller than usual. Duck strips for app is a must. The only problem we had was steak as well done and was ordered medium rare. It was returned. Comment also steak was tuff and will bring it home to doctor it up. So word to wise this is more of a seafood restaurant and probably not a steakhouse…but steak may be better next time. The wine glasses were rather small with no stem see pic

Fantastic dining room with a lodge like presence. Open, spacious, and welcoming. I enjoyed the Catfish (grilled) Atchafalaya. It was superb. Very good menu pricing. Our server was on top of refills, had the proper amount of table presence, and provided us with a warm experience. Definitely worth the drive.

My husband ordered a medium filet mignon that had to be returned to the kitchen three times. The first time, the filet mignon was cooked well done, the 2nd time it returned to the table rare, and the 3rd time the restaurant butterflied the filet referencing the thickness of the meat but the filet mignon still wasn’t cooked to medium. My husband cooked the butchered filet mignon at home to medium. I had the unpleasurable experience of ordering the crab cake appetizer and the seafood platter and all of the seafood had the same salty taste. We will not be returning to this restaurant

We went to The Atchafalaya Restaurant in Patterson on Mother’s Day. We were a party of 12 and had a reservation for noon. We had our wife’s and mother of 89 years old and was looking forward to a great lunch with family. I understand that on holidays things move a little slow. But it took 3 hours before we got any food. The waitress did the best she could. When she would go into the kitchen to ask how much longer it’s going to take. We could hear someone in the kitchen yelling at her Loud enough for us to hear. I tried speaking to the manager and she didn’t even care. And didn’t tried to do anything to help. This is the last time I will ever go there again. I gave them 1 star because that’s the lowest I could rate them.
