Food looked decent when I ordered it, the taste for me wasn’t there tho. I had the oxtail with garlic shrimp combo. Cabbage was bland and my rice was on the opposite side of the oxtail instead of mixed in. It was good tho but not worth the $30. My friend had curry chicken and as you see same portion size for half the price even tho it’s not same, price wasn’t justified for me. His food was bland also. Not sure if I’d return. The inside was small already and barely enough room for 5 people to dine in

I ordered ital stew with akee. I asked what greens came in the stew the lady told me I could choose between broccoli, spinach, or callaloo.” I told her Spanish she said okay I repeated the order and she did as well to make sure we was on the same page. When I received my order it wasn’t what i asked for they gave me what they wanted to give me. The dish that was made mind as well have been called kidney bean stew. I waited 40 mins for my order when the lady told me it was only gone to take 25 mins. I don’t really mind waiting for food I know what it’s like in the kitchen but for my order to be wrong and the beans under cooked I am disappointed.

I’ve been getting food from Island Quizine on Windsor Mill for years and I must say lately the food has been TRASH! I went there today 8/11/2023 at around 9:00 pm, for starters the service was absolutely HORRIBLE! This girl must have been new (My receipt say sever: Trainer M), I’ve never seen her before and she was beyond rude! She didn’t speak back when I spoke to her, she was very nonchalant and unfriendly, with an attitude in her face the entire time she took my order… please put her in the back! She does not need to work on the front with customers. The food was on the awful side smh…I ordered tropical catfish platter and jerk/curry chicken platter. The meat and rice was ok but the veggies and plantain was beyond TRASH!! We even ordered a side of plantain and it was beyond DRY! This is so disappointing.. y’all have to do better!!

One of my favorite restaurants. I have eaten at several locations and the food is consistently good. I’ve also used them for catering events. Serving staff is professional and friendly. I do wish the ambiance in store was better but for carry out you can’t beat the large serving size and relatively quick turnaround.

I seriously love this place. But this last time I was very disappointed. I ordered Curry Chicken with extra sauce, Callaloo and saltfish and a Pineapple Ginger drink. There was no saltfish in my Callaloo (that I paid for),but the Callaloo was delicious. I asked for a little bit of rice and peas and a lot of cabbage, but I got a lot of “white rice,” a little bit of rice and peas and cabbage and a small portion of chicken. The Curry Chicken was cold and the cabbage was bland. No extra sauce. My Pineapple Ginger drink was delicious. For $30, I want my food to be right.

Words cannot express what the team at Island Quizine did today on 3/11/23 @2pm. My food was messed up, and I told the manager & crew. He rectified it, and gave me the MOST sincere apology I ever had. KUDOS to the this Island Quizine on Windsor Mill. I love it. Thanks for showing up in the most kindest way. Awesome Sauce!
