Very cozy, family owned and operated golf course bar/grill. The food was fantastic and the service was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back any time we need some good grub on Camano. Check out their crispy cauliflower and portobello mushroom fries. Their burgers are also very good.

My only complaint was that it was a little warm inside but everything was so good. My waitress on Friday was great. Loved the clam chowder and the Grilled Cajun Turkey BLTA. My friend loved her lunch also and we both agreed we would come back for sure.

Overall great food and service. Cajun Salmon tacos were very tasty and cooked fresh to order. We loved the slaw, and it was very fresh. Caesar salad with Romaine and tossed in homemade caesar dressing was delicious! Burger was prepared well done/overcooked so make sure to ask for it how you would prefer it cooked if not asked by your server. Fries were fresh and hot! The homemade ranch was good too.

Very enthusiastic and energetic staff. Service was really good. Only complaint was my steak was not arriving hot. Plates were not warmed prior serving and did not like celery salt on my steak. Prefer plain salt. Shrimp salad was good and portobello mushrooms fries were interesting

This is our local hang out and golfing. Last time 10 minute wait but at least we could be seated. Today 10 minutes but they can’t seat you. People behind us 15 and next 20 minutes. Reason was the server doesn’t want people seated until they can take an order. Poor hostess had to try and explain as we looked out at all the empty chairs .

Had a good dinner for a large (14) group after nine holes of golf. Drinks and food were excellent. Try the Portobello Mushroom Fries. Service was a little slow but they were not expecting a large group.

I really enjoy the food but in the past 2 months that I have gone my partner and I would get really disappointed because our server never came to check on us to see if we needed a refill or anything extra that we may need. We constantly had to flag her down or ask someone else for help. And still she would continuously ignore us. We would sit there and watch as our server would take care of all the other tables but ours. And every time we always got the same server. An older lady with a raspy voice. Now i really hope it’s not due to a racial thing because I am a 27yr old Hispanic woman but today just really showed how she felt about the color of my skin. It is sad that we will no longer be eating here at the Rockaway. We truly do like the food but we have had enough of the lack of service we keep receiving.

Menu has been downgraded to fewer selections and food arrived not even warm and not up to their previous standards. Not the stellar place to order from it used to be last year. Online menu is sterile , without photos . So sad to see a place with such a great reputation go downhill so fast. Food is just so-so.
