The garlic rice is tasty…I think tastier and more flavorful than that at Savoy Chicken. However I do think the chicken is a little on the dry side. I love the ginger scallion sauce. Overall, very solid for a food court option.

Ive eaten here twice. The first time wasn’t memorable and the second time was memorable for the wrong reasons, as the chicken tasted like rubber the second time around. I’m sure it’s just a kitchen issue but that shouldnt happen like it did.

No cucumbers and no soup. The rice with chicken portions depleted. The dark meat are chewy with tendons and hard flavorless rice, which is not typical to the old Side Chick I’ve had multiple times. I see the ownership change along with the menu changes. It’s not the same anymore. It was super yummy with the brown containers.

Their Hainan chicken is really good and this is my second visit (drove from DTLA). However their staff felt nervous and questioned why I was taking photos when I pick up my order. So maybe don’t take photos before asking for permissions
