It isn’t fancy, but the food here was the best Persian food I’ve sampled in LA, to date. I lived in Iran for 3.5 years and live on the east coast. There is only one decent Persian restaurant in my entire area. So, when I come to LA, I try to sample a different place each time since this is the home to so many Iranian expats. This is my 5th place, and really, for such an unassuming spot, it was great.

Let me tell you, the food? Oh my goodness, it’s an absolute delight! My dining companion and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to dine at Laziz Grill. Our initial order consisted of three different dishes, but believe it or not, we couldn’t resist and ended up getting seven more to go! Yes, you read that right—seven additional dishes. That’s just how incredibly fantastic everything tasted. Honestly, “sooooooo good” doesn’t even begin to describe it! Highly Recommended:)

It’s a convenient place to grab food and take out, but they had a small table also for dining, the lady she was working there her name was Flora, she was so sweet, she warmed up our food to dine there, also if you are not even persian they have a lot of international food, and vegan and vegetarian food also, the prices were good too!

I’ve done both take outs during week nights and catering for parties with them and the food has always been great. At this point, I’ve tried all of their kabobs, kotlet, kookoo sabzi, mirza ghasemi, tahchin, and ghormeh sabzi and they have all been great. The only food that I did not care for was the baghala ghatogh. The owners are super nice and friendly. The last time I did catering, she was worried that the cost would be too much 🙂

Forgot to leave a review last week. I tried Laziz for the first time because I’ve had all the other Persian food in the area many many times. It did not disappoint and in fact it’s one of my favorites in Westwood. I wish I tried it sooner. Ordered online for pickup and the cashier was kind. I will be recommending Laziz from now on 🙂
