3 stars at best. Took quite a while to get my cocktail which I ordered immediately, but it came after my dinner arrived. Had to return our appetizer (Arancini) since it was still cold in the middle. Potato chips were kinda burnt. Halibut was good. Pasta with shrimp was good too (4 year old ate it). No issues with our server but $90 for all that? Not sure I’d return.

Hannah, our server was outstanding!!! Matthew, the host was great too. Enjoyed the Affettati charcuterie board. The salmon mousse was delicious.

Very disappointed! Firstly they wouldn’t seat us even though there were many free tables. We had to wait! Hubby had fish n chips and for the price it was not good. Fish was dried out and amount of coleslaw was tiny and we are not big eaters. I had an eggplant appetiser and it was like they put a jar of salsa in a bowl ! This place has an amazing view and waitresses attentive but overall disappointing

Well I’ll start this one with the service. Our server was incredible and deserves a raise. I don’t remember her name but I believe her name tag said she was from New Mexico (which is odd but I guess they’re tired of being asked by old people). Anyway I’m not some kind of snarky reviewer but some places deserve a warning. We just came out of 4 nights of rainy back country hiking/camping and wanted a nice warm bed and a good meal. This place was one of the only available and looked nice. Blah blah we finally get to dinner. The menu is limited to one page of Italian inspired food. No red meat on the menu. TF? So you get pasta or fish. Or pasta with fish, who eats that? The fish and chips were remarkably underwhelming and incredibly overpriced. Hip hop fish and chicken in baltimore has a better fish and fries for 6.99. Not even sure it was fish in the extra thick deep fried batter situation. Could have been cat food? I don’t know for sure. The spaghetti with chicken breast was not even as good as what I can make in my 1 bedroom efficiency on a food stamp budget. Yet it was 40 some dollars. Appalling honestly. Did I mention our server was great? Food was a -1 out of 10, and that’s coming from being starved in the backcountry eating only freeze dried meals. The fancy mozzarella balls appetizer was ok. Not nearly as good as Cheesecake Factory. The highlight of my meal was my bottomless dr. Pepper. So with tip 150 bucks got a meal that was lower quality then TGI Fridays. Do yourself a favor and take the bus to the boardwalk and get the pizza.

This is such a pretty lodge with stunning views. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Mac & cheese was bland and fish & chips wasn’t good. Looked like something from a microwave dinner. Menu has very limited options.

Really friendly and attentive staff. Although the restaurant does get busy during rush hours, it was never a long wait. The food was very good and the view was inspiring.

Undoubtedly excellent views, it would be hard not to have a good outlook at that elevation but the food is passable at best and they are trading on the view.

View to die for. Food was a MASSIVE disappointment, especially for the exorbitant prices. $33 for fish fingers and homemade potato chips that were overcooked and dry. No kids options, limited and overpriced menu, staff was full yet absent at times. Restaurant was branded as Italian, yet everything was as if they were told was the dish was and had to figure it out from that. Bolognaise didn’t have the wine cooked out of it. Pasta well past al dente. We chose to eat here out of convenience as we were staying at the hotel but I would warn others against it.

What a shame that the food does not live up to the facility and view! The waitress explained that the chef has repositioned the menu as “Italian” and as a foodie my wife and I could not find anything to order. Had we wanted pasta they had options. We made the reservation for Alaskan Crab Legs only to be told by the waitress the customer photo of last season menu has caused confusion. Perhaps because the restaurant manager does not post their 2023 menu! Never trust a restaurant that does not proudly post their menu! The place was empty and the restaurant to relocated to was on a wait…. And worth the wait!
