This was our first time in California. We have a rule in our house, when we are away from home, we eat somewhere that is not available back home. We had seen this place when we visited Shoreline Village earlier during the day. We decided to give it a try for dinner that night. We ate on the porch. The weather was amazing for it. The place was packed for it being a Sunday night. The food had good flavors. Different from what we are used to here in Texas, but still good. We tried a variety of different appetizers and entrees. It’s definitely a place we would try again.

Food was delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful, and fast. The wait for the table was a little longer than expected, because of a few issues they had with the sparkling water plumbing. They communicated the issue and once they communicated what was going on everything went back on track. Great teamwork.

Got the chili relleno, chili Verde, Carne asada. All the food was ok. Nothing bad. Just thought it would have been better. Or our taste buds were off. Service could have been better. My tip reflected that. Gave the waitress the minimum. She wasn’t very tentative.

Beautiful day in Long Beach. Enjoyed dinner at Tequila Jack’s Restaurant. We were quickly seated for a party of 8. Drinks and food were very good. We recommend the butter shrimp with steak over rice, and the carnitas tacos – SO GOOD! Kids menue had great selections.

One of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had! I ordered the shrimp and steak quesadilla and it came with guacamole and sour cream. The steak was so tender it Melts in your mouth! I will be ordering this again and can’t wait to try their other food. We we’re strapped for time we only had 35 min to eat before we had to board one of the cruises there shoreline so we got seated and ordered out food to go. The food came out so fast that we had time to eat it there. Great service.

Ambiance: I’ve never really seen this place with a light crowd. I usually come after work, and the wait is at least an hour each time. Inside is spacious and seamlessly goes from inside to outdoors, which I love because it’s close to the water.

this is My experience being in the restaurant this time it was bad.Been coming here with my family for over 10 years never had a problem before like I had on Saturday night. We came here ready to eat and drink a couple of beers we sit down and order our food and a couple of drinks like you see in the picture but after ordering some drinks we try to order some more but the manager Oscar refuse to sell us more he said we were already drunk with one drink I’m like Are you serious right now I even talk to him we come here all the time never had a problem… And we were a party of six it was embarrassing for me and my family couldn’t believe what was going on and happening with this manager name Oscar we would love to go back to the restaurant but the behavior and the service and the way he Attended us was not acceptable pretty embarrassing people watching us never once gave him a reason or a problem for him to refuse us with our order of beers and our food was already in the table ready for all of us to eat so he pretty much was kicking us out After 10 years coming here this was the first time I ever had experience something like this sad to say

The restaurant has a waterfront location with stunning views of the Long Beach Harbor. The food menu features a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. I tried the chicken fajitas, which were good but not great. The chicken was overcooked, and the tortillas were a bit dry. The guacamole was delicious, and the margaritas were the best I’ve ever had.

Manager Erica took care of me & my party on short notice for my 70th birthday. we had the best time. Service, food & atmosphere was perfect. Tequila Jack’s is always my place of choice when hanging out in Long Beach.

Absolutely amazing place! Food is exceptional, and service was second to none ( thanks to Kevin) – super attentive and friendly. On arrival the manager asked if we wanted the perfect outside table to accommodate our dog.
