Additionally, in 2019, Sofia was named “Restaurant of the Year” in New Orleans Magazine and voted “Best New Restaurant” in Gambit and Where Y’at magazines. The ambience was amazing!! Great place for date night. The service was a perfect. Everyone was polite and very helpful. We had the amazing server Charis and she helped us new comers pick out some amazing dishes. I am a big lover of brick oven pizzas so I wanted to try a pizza , pasta and dessert for my birthday. We had the Spicy Pizza (forgot to take a picture of), The Pistachio Pesto, zeppole & the Olive Oil Pistachio Cake. We also did not want the drinks listed on the menu so they made us lemon drop martinis. Everything we had they night was absolutely amazing. The pasta was so delicious I ordered one to go. The pizza was nice and light and didn’t make you feel like you ate a loaf of bread. The crispy kale and honey on the pizza was Devine. It gave it something extra it was perfection. The zeppole was warm donuts with an amazing sauce. And the cake was dense n delicious. With the cream and strawberries and the fresh basil (I think it was), it was pure heaven. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday and I’m excited to go back and try different a pasta n pizza.

Great place for an awesome Italian inspired menu. Food was insanely good and the pizza was perfectly put together with ingredients. Great food, great atmosphere, outstanding servive, not too loud. One of our party is gluten sensitive and they were very aware of what could be substituted for pasta, pizza and even gluten free bread for dipping into the Ricotta appetizer. Will come again!!

I found this place on Tiktok. I did a reservation for brunch for my best friend’s 30th birthday. It’s smaller than I though it would be, so I highly recommend a reservation if you want to avoid waiting, but it is so cute inside with the queen Sofia Loren being the theme. The design feels fancy and the food was amazing. I had pancakes and they were basically like fluffy cinnamon rolls bites of heaven in your mouth. Everyone at the table got something different and we all loved it. They don’t mess around with the bottomless mimosas and their other drinks were great! It was a quick walk from our hotel and a nice location with great food and great drinks.
