Went at 12:20 when lunch was in full swing. Was able to grab a table and get my order placed quickly. Food was ready in 15min. Burger was good but the battered fries & Zip Sauce was the best! First time eating there & will definitely return. Very friendly staff throughout the place.

I was disappointed based on the reviews that I saw online. We were ahead of a group by 10 minutes and their food came out. We only saw the waitress once and I had to flag her down asking about my food. The hamburger was cold to the touch and the bun fell apart. The onion rings fell apart. We had to wait 30 minutes on our food and it was not the lunch Hour crowd. I would not recommend Zips. We noticed a B rating from the health department and I can understand why. Hamburgers were flavored well but messy. Fries were also flavored well but lukewarm. My husband’s onion rings were disappointing. Our server was not attentive at all and we had to ask for more tea after being without any for 20 min, and we had to ask for our food after we saw everyone around us eating who had come in after us. Again. This was after 30 min of waiting for a burger. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Disappointed. We were hoping for an awesome meal.

Awesome Catfish filets. The veggies where great also. I heard someone ask if there where any other restaurants in town because it looked like everyone was eating here. Even though they were busy the special didn’t take long to come. Service was great. Lots of locals eating here.

We absolutely love Zip’s! Any time we are passing through Magee around mealtime, we are stopping. If you love a good burger full of flavor, get the Fire House Burger. It has grilled onions, cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. Also, my family loves the battered fries… don’t forget the Zip Sauce!
