We drove an hour and a half to try Deep South! It’s the only place around with an unlimited crab leg special (only on Saturdays). 4 people in our group did the crab legs while 2 others ordered off of the regular menu! The crab was tough to crack but it was fun and memorable! I’ll definitely be back but I’ll try something else on the menu next time. The crab was delicious but a lot of work! The crab special does include 2 sides! The fries were absolutely fantastic!

Ordered takeout, the food was good and hot, portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the facility was clean and had a down-home feel to it. My husband and I both ordered the fish and shrimp plates with fries. The serving of fish was plenty there were 6 large pcs of shrimp and they were 2 bite shrimp done to perfection not heavily battered they had more of a panko breading which was perfect. We drove from Evansville to eat AYCE crablegs. My wife and I ordered the all you can eat and our daughter wanted to try the all you can eat as well. She ate 2 legs off of her cluster and didn’t like them. So we ordered her shrimp instead. We figured maybe they would just charge for the shrimp and her 2 sides. They charged us the full price for all 3 AYCE orders plus 8.00 for her shrimp. The waitress said her boss told her he she couldn’t take a charge off. Now as a manager I would think they could at least come out and talk to us about it instead of sending the poor waitress out to do it. So needless to say that left a bad taste in our mouth and we probably won’t make the drive to come back. Our waitress was amazing and the food was great, we even ordered our daughter dessert. I am just a little disappointed in the customer service with management.

Fantastic food and service. We started out with BBQ nachos appetizer which were delicious. He ordered the Fox Fire burger and I ordered the Mushroom Swiss with a side of cheese curds. And I put some of those cheese curds on my burger like the Fox Fire already had. And it was sooo good. There were so many great options to choose from and you can bet we will be back to try them!

Heather, Jason, Me, my Mother and my two grandchildren had Deep South pizza tonight. It was very good and it had cauliflower crust. I have never had that before, so I had no clue what it would taste like? I really can not tell the difference. That’s what I will have from now on.

The Mushroom Swiss on pretzel bun, fried chicken, drinks, ribeye steak, fries…. its all been so good so far! The waitresses are also so nice each time we went. Fast service. Helpful. Calm.

Is a quaint little rustic restaurant, had never been here before. I ordered the pulled pork basket, you get fries or potato salad, I chose fries, the fries were very good, they were seasoned, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them, they were perfect. The pulled pork was very good, had a good smoky flavor. Had a good helping of pork, for a sandwich. They put barbecue sauce on the sandwich for you, so if you don’t want barbecue sauce you need to tell them. My wife ordered a salad of some kind, I’m sorry, I don’t remember what it was, but it was big and she thoroughly enjoyed the salad. It was crisp and fresh and had ham, turkey, chicken,very good. She ordered Chipotle dressing, gave it a little kick. The waiterses were friendly and helpful. Came very close to giving them 5 stars, but it’s very hard to get 5 stars from me.
