We had a wonderful experience recently. We had an outdoor dinner with a group of 6 people, the hostess Lexie got us a fantastic table, with a great view and location. We had the calamari, a pitcher of sangria and I chose to have the Haddock Newburg which was fantastic. I highly recommend going here when the weather is beautiful.

Long been a favorite restaurant in Wickford. Food is great and service fast and friendly. Sorry I did not get our waitresses name but she was outstanding!

This place is way overpriced and understaffed.its mostly outdoor dining with a small indoor dining room which was filled with smoke from the kitchen. The food is mediocre at best. I got fish thinking it would be fresh as it’s called Tavern by the sea but no it’s frozen scrod. The portions are tiny. The $18 standard premade patty hamburger says it all. They have only one tiny bathroom for at least twenty five tables.Just another seasonal cash grab fancy restaurant. my first and only visit. I was very disappointed.

Wonderful dinner on the deck, despite pouring down rain. We stayed dry. Our server was a delight and very professional. Clam chowder was delicious, as was the pasta with beef ragu. Brie burger was prepared to perfection. Molten lava cake and apple blossom desserts were yummy too. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful restaurant! The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend making a reservation because they get busy quickly. We had a reservation and were seated in a few minutes upon arrival. Over all really nice place and we plan to go again

Amazing experience! We went at eight pm and sat outside. The food was excellent and the service was just as good, which was perfect because we had friend in from out of state and wanted to show her a good time. The servers, bartenders, and the manager were all SO sweet to my kids – one bartender gave my toddler a little cup of Gummi worms, and the gal who I think was the manager brought them out butter noodles when she saw they wanted my shrimp scampi (lol). We got the scrod, shrimp scampi, and scallops for entrees, and mussels and calamari appetizers – all were fantastic. My husband and I already can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a great time!

Food is mediocre at best. The stuffies are bland. My seared scallops and risotto was cold, and the risotto was undercooked. Food took a long time to be served. Honestly would not return anytime soon. Our server was great though! She was attentive and made the experience bearable.

I’ve been here a few times now during lunch and all three times I’ve really enjoyed it. I got the gyro most recently which was perfect. The outdoor patio and bar is beautiful and situated right on wickford cove with beautiful water views.

It was a very nice weather day on a Friday evening. The place is busy so best make reservations if you want a table. We sat at the bar and ate starters for dinner. The stuffed quahogs were very large and the stuffing nicely spiced and meaty. We also had the muscles which were numerous (20!) in a white butter sauce. The only detraction was a mixed bag for service. They were busy and split their attention between the bar and a painting party in the back garden. Certainly worth the visit for the food and atmosphere.

The restaurant was nice and the staff was very friendly. The food was somewhat disappointing. The lobster roll was small (smaller than other comparable restaurants) and the fries were overcooked frozen fries. We also ordered Shrimp Scampi….the pasta was mealy, the shrimp bland and overcooked. The worst part was the Scampi was made with olives….this overshadowed any garlic and left a strange lingering flavor on everything (not a good lingering flavor).
