the carnitas i ordered was literally half fat. there was so much fat on the pork it made it a bit nauseating to eat. the chips and salsa were fresh, and the service was fine; it’s the fatty meat that gave it the low score.

Enchiladas had no sauce. Was missing rice and beans for two separate dinners. Was missing consommé for birria. Mediocre taste just ok quality food. Waitress knows NOTHINGGGG about the Mexican food she’s selling and serving.

We love coming here! Food tastes great!! Fast service but no rushed. Atmosphere is very chill and happy!!! Highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for the best Mexican food! The chips and salsa is a big hit for the kiddos.

It’s one of my favorite places in town. The owner is very sweet, and they are willing to make alterations to whatever they can to make it into a vegetarian option. So don’t be afraid to ask. From time to time, there is a language barrier, but I don’t mind, and they are kind about it and will find someone else quickly on their own to remedy the struggle. A few times, there have been inconsistencies from the kitchen, but no one has 100% all the time.

This is very average Mexican food. They have a massive menu and fall into the trap of trying to do too much and not really being good at anything. It’s not bad, it’s just not great. Even in Galesburg, there are better options.

We took out family of four here for dinner on a Saturday night. It looked really crowded upon arrival but we got a seat right away and the service was fast and outstanding. We ordered Arroz con Pollo (teenager approved), Tacos el Pastor (very good especially the hot sauce that came with it), Spicy Shrimp (shrimp was good and very spicy) and Steak Tacos Especial (authentic, loaded with cilantro and avocado. Our waitress was so attentive and fun. A great addition to Galesburg.

Guacamole Grill is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area. Their service is good and food is cooked in a reasonable time. Portions are huge and drinks are awesome. Bathrooms and restaurant are always clean.
