Meh. Our waitress was nice, but no Black Rock beers and food was undercooked (flatbread pizza) and squishy with dressing (shrimp mango bowl). We don’t plan on returning.

This isn’t even Black Rock Brewing anymore, don’t be deceived. They had no Black Rock beer and only one beer that was from Spring Gate. Only go if you are expecting Spring Gate products only. Food was pretty good and came out fast.

Not the best first impression for a local kitchen. We ordered on their website and my husband showed up to pick up the order on time and the worker had to call the chef to return and cook the items. Then, they did not have the items we ordered on the menu in stock. What a bummer as we were looking for a new place to try in Linglestown.

Unfortunately I can’t rate on experience, service or food/beverage. We showed up tonight at 5:30 under the impression the place opened at 5 on Tuesdays given the Google, Facebook and posted store hours indicated. The place was empty and dark and still had a sign out saying open on Tuesdays at 5. Oh well. Perhaps, posting a change in business hours would save those the trouble of driving 40 minutes to a closed brewery.

I want to like this place but it’s hard when the chef never showed up. The lady at the bar was friendly, knowledgeable and apologetic about the fact that it was 1240 and we had waited 40 minutes only to still not be able to get food. Beer was good
