Probably the best pupusas i have had! It is run by a mother son duo, and the quality of food they put out is phenomenal. The bean filling and chicharron are delicious! I will definitely come here again. It is a little difficult to get to since it is inside of a business park, but do not worry, it is worth it! They were kind to let us order 10 minutes before closing.

I was visiting Humboldt and I wanted food so I called Pupuseria San Miguel, because I had to try their delicious pupusas! I placed an order, they quickly answered the phone and in a short time my 10 cheese pupusas were ready! I went to the store to buy sour cream and ate 8 of them! I think this Pupuseria is the best I’ve ever tried in the whole world! I got great customer service, they were very nice and I got my food very quickly! The Pupuseria was very close to where I was staying. The place smelled like delicious pupusas, and when I left I just new I had to come back. (By the way this is totally not my uncle’s and grandma’s Pupuseria.) ️ ️

Awesome food! Just like when I was a kid and lived in San Salvador. Absolute must try, you won’t regret it!!! If you’ve never tried it they are so crazy good, cheesy warm masa pockets with your choice of filling, grilled slightly crisp but still soft in the middle. Highly recommend the chicharone filling.

Got some of their vegan bean and cheese pupusas during Arts Arcata, and they were fantastic! they also have meat and vegetarian options. Freshly cooked on griddle right in front of you, served with a well-spiced slaw and house made fire roasted salsas. They seem to have more options for toppings and add ons at the main location too – I will definitely be coming by to check it out sometime! Be careful with the hot salsa though — it was not messing around!
