Had seen a review from NEPA Pizza Review, shout out Jim, and had to figure a way out to get here to try the pizza and sandwiches. Absolutely amazing. The pizza is cracker thin and crispy, with a delicious tangy sauce. But the star of the show here for me is the Briased Beef Sandwich. Tender fall apart braised beef, provolone, long hots and broccoli rabe. And the bread is baked in house! Supremely delicious. And the staff is also super friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to get back to try some more!! Highly recommend going out of your way for Gio’s!

Very good pizza. I find this pizza is not too greasy like their competitor, Rosario’s. The presentation is nice. Pizza has an authentic look and better presentation than your average pie. The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is due to the price. A plane large pizza is $20. Thats $3 to $6 more than competitors in the area. Even though the pizza is very good, the pizza is in the same league as other pizzerias nearby. It’s pretty difficult to outdo restaurants like Dino’s, Rosario’s, Colarusso’s or Vincenzo’s that charge less. I will be ordering again because I like the uniqueness of the restaurant and its food.

The pizza is probably some of the best in the area! I hit traffic picking up my order so I was late and he donated my original pizza to Gerritys next door and made me a fresh one. The owner is such a lovely person and this place is a great contribution to the community. Highly recommended.

Tried the beef stroganoff today. Tender, perfect flavors, right amount of sauce to pasta ratio. Extremely delicious. The Sunday gravy was also great! Meatballs flavorful and moist. Definitely not loaded with bread. Sauce was amazing, had hot sausage in it. They make their own Italian bread! Truly good. Great NY pizza. This was take out and it has us going back for more. Love this place.

Went here spur of the moment and so glad we did. Staff is so accommodating and the food is amazing. The homemade soups are incredible and we now have a new favorite pizza in northeast PA (and that’s saying something!)

What a wonderful place! The owner was so personabl. The pizza was wonderful, especially the homemade crust that was made with love. We asked for a Pagash pizza which is a dough folded over cheese and mashed potatoes and baked. Delicious! I highly recommend Gio’s if you are in Clark Summit.

Omg the worst When walk in the pizza pies on display look like they were laying there a week. We got a truffle slice was old n smelt spoiled we got a chicken parm sandwich that took 45 mins I got up n asked she said it’s cooking When it came bread was hard like a rock which was like a brick 2 slices of chicken fingers on a hero not a cutlet over cooked awful sauce was hot made with a hot sauce n peppery not marinara ..Painted a dark color inside very moody I got my 13.00 for my sandwich back cook never apologized..Save your money n time I saw a few pies go by n all over cooked and burnt ..never going back..Save your time n money

If your looking for extremely delicous affordable pizza and very friendly employees look no further gios is all that and then some. The resturaunt really gives off that Italian feel. There’s a decent variety of different foods to pick from. Pizza is on par EVERYTIME freshly grown/cut basil is put on top of the pizza i drive almost an hour out once every 2 weeks or so for this amazing food.
