They are just so beyond our expectations! My friend and I celebrated her birthday and the waitresses were the sweetest souls. They had the lettering of “HBD” on the sushi board, which was plated neatly and formally. They also had the lettering “Happy ##th Birthday” on the the dessert plate which was cutely presented! We ordered the “chocolate lava cake” and we loved it, since the cake was warmly served, it balanced so well with the ice cream. I would definitely come back again. I would recommend this branch 10/10

Used to love this place. Ever since the new ownership it has gone downhill. There was only one waitress on a Friday. The atmosphere/decor is weird now. Food just isn’t as good anymore, and the prices went up. So it doesn’t seem worth going to anymore. My Supreme California roll had hardly any crab in it… it might as well have been a veggie roll. My boyfriend’s roll had plastic stuck to it and way too much rice. Seems like they are trying to save money by cutting back the expensive ingredients.

Had a wonderful Experience with my wife. Altho the place was very busy and what seemed to be understaffed the waitress was able to serve us in a freindly and timely fashion. We had a nice surprise out sushi showed up in a wooden boat. The food quality was excellent .

Normally I would always give a 5 star review. Spider is one of our absolute favorite restaurants however after our experience today we will never be returning again. The food was good as usual but the waitress was rude and had an attitude with us from the time we walked in the door asking for a table for 8 adults and 1 child. (We are a polite, well behave group that has basically no special requests for our order). We did request the bill be split by couples and attempted to point out which couples were together. She had a snippy response. We had to wait FOREVER for our drinks, for condiments, and for the bill. We ordered a round of Power Shots for all the adults, they were missing an ingredient so the manager offered to discount them (a discount of about $5 per couple). She failed to apply the discount to our bill. When we brought that and the entire experience to her attention all she said was “sorry about your bad experience”. SHE was the entire reason for our bad experience. I’m not sure who peed in her Cheerios this morning that made her so grumpy. We will be taking our buisness somewhere else, where they actually WANT our buisness and we are not just an inconvenience.

I’m really not sure what this place is going for. The music is too loud and the art on the walls is kind of weird. The food and customer service is decent, but definitely not worth the price. When I went, I didn’t get sick, so that’s a plus. I didn’t have a bad time, but I didn’t have a good time. It was…just ok. I won’t be going to another Spier Sushi, so maybe that’s my real review: I wouldn’t go again.

I have ordered take out from here numerous times, and the food has always been spectacular. I brought my son for dine in on a Saturday lunch, however, and it was quite a different experience. The server was terrific, and we left a great tip, but the food was not so great. EVERYTHING tasted like fish! The green tea, my water, my son’s pork Ramen, everything!! The only conclusion I can come to is that the dish water needs to be changed more often. I’ll continue to order take out, but probably won’t dine in again.
