The mussels in garlic wine sauce app were delicious. The squid ink pasta w/shrimp and spicy pepper was yummy. Check out the desserts too. Great food and service. All dishes came out hot and just right.

This beautiful little restaurant in the middle of downtown Paulsboro is fabulous!! I have been coming for several months now, and to say I am always amazed is an understatement. The owners and staff are just wonderful. The chefs literally put the perfect spin on every dish they make. The drinks are out of this world delicious. Osteria 545 is a place you must try, believe me you’ll come back time and time again.

Having worked in a fine dining kitchen as a Sous Chef for 10 years, and living in the area, I would offer Osteria is the best place to eat in Paulsboro bar none. It’s important to be able to get out locally for a good plate, so this establishment fits the bill perfectly. From my perspective : Food is good. Chef is hardworking and timely. Restaurant is clean. Service is great. Close to the house. Considerate ownership. & plenty of parking. Great local kitchen for nights I don’t want to cook but still want good food.

Tonight was our first time eating here. My husband and I absolutely loved it. We tried the fried calamari for an app and it was so good. My husband had the seafood special they had for the night and I had the arugula salad with chicken. Food, service, and the place are great. We highly recommend.

This place is delicious!!! It is good to have a great restaurant back in town. The service and workers are really nice and attentive. The rustic bread with the red pepper sauce and oil was awesome and the arancini was the best I have ever had. I had the chicken carciofi and it was amazing. Though I do wish the pasta would be served in the white wine sauce the chicken is in instead of the marinara, but I will just ask for that next time. My boyfriend got the spaghetti and meatballs and he said it was good as well. The ONLY downside was that I think the lava cake is just the Ghirardelli box mix you get from shoprite and had no gooey center, it was still good, just not what I expected for a restaurant lava cake which is usually a little bigger and has a gooey center. Overall, this place was great & I will definitely be a regular here! I can’t wait to come back.

I must admit, tonight has been our third time, and each time we’ve never left disappointed. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and the food beyond delicious. We started with one of our absolute favorites; fried calamari. Cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice from the pepper rings. My entree tonight was the lobster ravioli, and I can’t put into words how absolutely phenomenal it was. After our meals, the owner shared with us some of his complimentary homemade limoncello. If you haven’t been yet, I highly suggest stopping by. You will not be disappointed- a definite hidden gem!!

Good food, friendly people but expected a simple chicken parm dinner to be better than it was. Breading felt a bit soggy and had very little to no crisp. For the price, I have to hold it to a higher standard. The Tirramisu was great though
