Excellent bbq. Brisket had to be eaten with a spoon it was so tender. Ribs fell right off the bone. Sauce was excellent. Price seems to be on the lower end for BBQ. I only wish they would have a dining area. We had to go to the bar next over to be served. I understand they work together and the staff was so friendly, but it was very awkward bringing in 2 toddlers and an infant.

I wanted something different for lunch and figured bbq sounded perfect. Being from what I consider 1 of the 3 major bbq towns in the midwest, I was wondering what Green Bay had for BBQ and how would it compare. I did what most people do and looked on Google and read reviews. Based on the reviews it looked like there were 2 that met the criteria. One was closed so that made the choice easy. Went to The Smoking Pig with no expectations. Talked to the cook himself and he suggested both the ribs and brisket. I was nervous about brisket as many times in the past it has been a little tough at other places I have tried it. Ordered both and he could not have been more right. The ribs were perfect. Easy to eat and the meat came off the bones easily. However, the brisket was the show stealer. It was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. Easily the best brisket I have ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough and will surely eat here again.

Fantastic Brisket! Smell ambrosia aroma makes you want to rip open open the bag before you get home. They offer daily specials. Now that Joe’s is gone it is good that this is the only place I will go for BBQ!

This is attached to the C & C bar next door, so if you’re looking to eat in, you’ll order there. Take out is available by phone or walking in. There is also a standard bar menu, but we didn’t really look it over.

Just fantastic!!! We had just left a bar/restaurant down the street because they were short staffed and forgot to place our order with the cook. After waiting more than an hour for food we we’re starving and left angry. The Smokin Pig was about to close up but the owner couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating. He said he was about out of food but could whip us some some pulled pork sandwiches and fries along with the chicken legs he stilled had left. A great local business SUPPORT IT. We walked home and started eating before we got in the door. Great food geat service!!!!
