The food was amazing. Best refried beans ever. The Torta Cubana is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. I love this place and I wish I lived closer so I can come more often. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend.

Just driving through town and stopped to eat on a whim. Mexican food was amazing. Service was great. And it’s an ice cream shop so couldn’t turn down dessert. Very nice surprise on our way through St Charles.

The ice cream was immaculate. The Chicken tacos were on point. The waiter named pedro was one of the best i’ve had here at Genesis. He gave us samples of almost all ice creams until we found the one we like.

We were very confused by the great reviews. Paid $12 for a chicken chimichanga, it was huge and looked amazing, except it was ALL rice. Filled with rice, maybe 1oz of chicken. Came with a side of rice too, not sure why. Queso dip is not homemade, definitely canned. Staff were friendly. Came in July, the Christmas decor was dusty.

Very generous servings. My son at the chicken fried steak. My daughter the French toast, which was even good reheated the next day. I had the chicken fajitas and jamaicia to drink. My husband had the chimichanga. I would have liked more shredded cheese and Pico with my fajita, though.

Genesis in St. Charles is high quality Mexican food, which we have been anxiously awaiting! They also serve burgers and American food, as well as a full breakfast menu. We ordered the Asada (steak) burrito and chicken tacos. The tacos were street taco style which were delicious. The food is not spicy, so you can add your own hot sauce or use their homemade sauce to your liking. When we entered to pick up our takeout, a huge sizzling skillet of fajitas was coming out for a customer and it smelled and looked incredible. Highly recommend Genesis restaurant!
