The bar reminds me of the one in the Shining. Lovely interior, very cool historic building, efficient and attentive staff (but not hovering). Want a classy place to take a date? This is it! Delicious food, excellent drinks. Live saxophonist was very talented but not so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. We enjoyed it so much, we got VIP memberships for a year. It’s actually a great deal if you eat there a couple times a year. My only complaint is whatever room spray they use is too strong, like men’s cologne. I come home smelling like it every time. It’s pleasant, just too much of it.

It was out first time dining at Sidebar. When we first walked the hostess gave us a tour thru the restaurant explaining the different rooms and areas. The restaurant is fairly dark but it creates a beautiful ambiance. We went on a Tuesday so the menu was smaller. We will definitely be back it was an amazing date night

A visually beautiful dining experience . Loved the ambience. Loved the music. The food and drinks were good. The service was great. Unfortunately, my husband and I found the chairs very uncomfortable, to the point of causing back aches. We left without dessert or staying to enjoy the saxophone musician because of our back pains. We would have spent more time and money, if the chairs were comfortable.

We went here for a girls night out last night and at first it was great. But shortly after we got our food the waiter was super rude and in a bad mood. It appears he had a party of 20 and probably overworked. But, it ruined our night. He never offered us water or drinks. The food was good. For the expensive dinner and drinks, i would expect better service. He was awful to be exact.

The food and atmosphere are amazing, however; it’s pretty annoying to get charged extra fees for everything from still water to extra bread. This is America where tap water is always available, this isn’t Mexico or Europe. Also, while the server was mostly friendly, she messed up our order. Last, additional parking is needed.

Was recommended this place for a good while till finally booked my reservation for my 1year anniversary. The service was awesome and our waiter Kassandra (I think that was her name) gave us more information about the bar itself and the history. She recommended some wine for our special occasion but declined due to going on a year of sobriety. My plate was great so was my fiance. she loved the atmosphere because she’s into jazz and for sure we are going back on a Wednesday since Kassandra said they have love music on those days and she also added a special note on our dessert. You can see the smile on my fiance face she loved it.. I will return to this place. and the prices for the food aint bad either.
