The fried pork dumplings are GREAT! Fresh ginger-y, a slight smoke flavor from fast high heat cooking – like you get in Chinatown. I believe it is take-out only. Extra covid precaution, they have a big acrylic window between the kitchen and pick up area. I don’t recall seeing seating.

We order from here once or twice every month. The food has always been great! The only thing we had to be cautious about was trying not to order delivery during their peak hours because the wait is a little longer. But even so, it is worth the wait! So yummy! Thank you 🙂

Ordered garlic shrimp, a spicy dish. Couldn’t taste garlic or any hot spices. Shrimp was gummy. Sauce was overly sweet . Also ordered another shrimp dish, same thing. Not going back. Cant find a decent oriental restaurant in NJ.

This was our go to spot for their Mongolian beef.. until today . We ordered the same thing as we usually do but they made it way too overly spicy . Menu item A23 there is no chili warning … Slight kick is ok .. but this was way too spicy and not enjoyable . So after a few bites me and my wife gave up and just gave a call to just have it made without the extra spice. At first they tried to say that their own menu flyer both online and paper menu was wrong and that it comes this spicy .. mind you we order the same dish for the past 2 years .. finally they said they’ll send a new order .. i wasn’t upset just wanted to enjoy our food that was paid for . The thing that bothered me is when the delivery man comes to the door he asks for the opened food back. No problem, but just very odd .. that a restaurant would ask for opened food back… as if we where trying to pull one over on them lol . Pretty insulting but nonetheless i tipped the delivery man .. again .. but will not be ordering from this place again . And hopefully no one ordered “spicy” Mongolian beef later that day .just sayin

I am trying to figure out who actually wrote those reviews, but we just had delivery and can honestly say, we do not remember having worse food. The chicken was fried up unrecognizable who knows what, and the shrimp dish was doused in nothing but carrots and celery with stale peanuts thrown on top. Sorry for this bad review, but all just got tossed, which is very rare for me.

I asked them if there’s minimum on delivery. They said no but there’s delivery fee. Fine. When the food came, it’s $15.19, I gave him $16. He still stand at the door staring at me. I thought I did the math wrong. I asked him if I own him any money. He repeated the price. I was like ” I don’t owe you any money right?” He was like ” Yeah but no tip?”

Have you ever gone to a chinese restaurant and been served a good meal and a good sized portion? After you go there for awhile, the service and portion size drops off, right? Royal Wok is no different. Your first meal will be the best one. If you go there more than once, you’ll be disappointed!
