Got a bbq chicken Sicilian pizza and their loaded sidewinder fries. It was not good. The pizza was dry and the crust was a lot for how bland and chewy it was. The fries were soaked in grease and had to be eaten with a fork. There are a lot of other pizza places in the area that are better for comparable prices. They were really nice! But the food wasn’t.

Pizza is really good. However, I place an order for delievery and after I got the receipt I noticed a custom item charge of 5 dollars. I tipped the delivery driver anyway but I called in and asked what the charge was for and they told me it was a delivery fee. Say that next time. “Custom item” looks ridiculous. Edit: the pizza is USUALLY good. We asked for well done and it wasnt cooked correctly. Idk if this place has new managment but that really aucks.

I suggest nobody order anything from this restaurant. They sent me burnt boneless chicken wings. They were supposed to put extra cheese on the pizza they did not and charged me for it when I called back and complained they told me they would send out new they did not. I called the next day for a refund and they would not give it to me. Don’t go here they will rip you off bad business. And the management excuse is they don’t speak English. Oh, and one of the chicken wings weren’t even fully cooked.

I write this hoping to be as fair and not biased as possible. I’ve worked in several restaurants and the household I ordered from, are sons to a father that literally owns a shop near Reading. Ordered food for delivery at 7:30 on Sunday 3/26/23, they took the order for delivery, charged the card, and they took the address for delivery. I am 2.0 miles from the store. I ordered a pizza, fries and wings. Called back at 8:30 to ask where the food was and was promptly told they don’t deliver. There was some miscommunication or something… The manager/owner had to deliver it, the food came 2 hours after ordering. They forgot the pizza topping and the sauce for the wings. The service on the phone was not the best in attitude. They delivered the food, offered a discount on the next order (really should’ve discounted this one) and gave us a complimentary soda. The food was good when we finally got it, but yeah sort the delivery situation out or just strictly don’t offer it. I gladly would’ve picked the food up if they would have said no delivery in the beginning. 2/5 because they redeemed themselves with the food being decent and the apology at the end.

Get food from the Brooklyn Pizza on lititz instead. This was okay but food was slow & not on time for pickup. They didn’t have onions I guess because wasn’t added to any of my salads. Wish I took a pic of the chef salad before I threw it away. They just chopped carrots and threw it on the salad. The tomatoes were sliced like for a burger. And the ham & turkey was just in long rolls. Seemed very half attempted. The burger was very good tho

Sometimes life just works out! After placing an order at another place I was frustrated when told that hut was out of pizza. Barely missing closing time, this place never disappoints! And I have learned my lesson about “a slice”. It’s much more satisfying to get the whole pie! My most sincere compliments to this downtown feature no one should miss!
