When I want Chinese food, this is the place to go! I normally get hibachi steak combo with an extra white sauce. No mushrooms and carrots and it’s excellent! The hibachi itself is salty and with the addition of white sauce makes it a salty and sweet, one of my favorite tastes. I would highly recommend this place!

I am extremely disappointed in Chinatown express. 3 months ago I gave them 5 stars. Since then, my husband Cleo and I have ordered 3 times and the rice was very dry plus no broth was added. We alwayyyys ask for extra broth to ensure that the rice is NOT dry. TODAY, July 24, 2023, we ordered 2 entrees and AGAIN over the phone, we requested BROTH so they wouldn’t be dry. We received 2 DRY ENTREES. We paid for a delivery order. We had to DRIVE back to the restaurant and Wendy gave me BROTH in a container. We also asked for 3 packs of noodles. Now I am back home and the noodles are terrible. They taste like they were cooked YESTERDAY and they are old and stale. They are going in the trash. They are usually very fresh.

I must say this place is pretty dang good. I ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi and it was very flavorful. I gave my fried rice away and they said it wasn’t good at all that’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. I hate I found it after I moved from Raleigh. Soooo good! I’ve tried a lot of the Chinese restaurants in this area and this is by far the best! Really nice, fresh, high quality food! We love the general tsao’s, cashew chicken, lo mein, moo goo gai pan, scallion pancake, Singapore noodles, crab Rangoon, sesame chicken, all of the soups, just to name a few. A real treasure. Just really good food and friendly, FAST service!
