The food was good, but I question if it’s worth the price and add on fees.

I went there to celebrate my friends birthday and I ordered the shrimp scampi and there were 7 of us who ordered food. Well the sauce had no garlic and was watery and tasted like lemon. I was so disappointed. shocked since the pictures on the website looked so good and the the reviews were good. I really didn’t want to complain since I was with my friends family. Then to my surprise my friend was not happy either, she said we should of went to the restaurant I suggested.. Never again will I go there.. They should get a new cook!! Picture of the angel hair pasta light with no yellow garlic disgusting lemon flavor. I ate the shrimp!!

We’ve been here multiple visits. Staff friendly and made nice food recommendations. However, the meatballs were overcooked and hard. The ravioli were also hard and not very flavorful. The seafood combination (marinara) was very tasty. The bolegnese was on the creamy side and tasty. The garlic bread is always great.

Easily the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. There were four of us, and nobody was happy with their meal. The sauce had no taste. the meatballs were overcooked and hard. The white wine sauce with my girlfriends pasta taste like water with lemon. Instead of the antipasto containing different types of cured meats and Italian cheeses like most places, it was a sample of their fried appetizers. I couldn’t believe it had a mozzarella stick and a very small breaded shrimp that was obviously from a bag of frozen shrimp. I read some of the other reviews, astonished that they have an average of four stars out of five. Second review, I read gave them four out of five stars, even though they said “ the meatballs were overcooked and hard. The ravioli were also hard and not very flavorful.”. They mentioned that the garlic knots were very good and another dish was good. I don’t know how they gave four out of five stars to an Italian restaurant with bad meatballs and bad ravioli. My girlfriends son had the spaghetti and meatballs so I can verify that the meatballs were over cooked and hard. I used to think Olive Garden was the worst Italian restaurant you could go to, but now I know that’s not true.

Stopped by here for a business meeting, Food was delicious reminded me of old school grandma’s cooking from NYC which I was pleasantly surprised to find in PA! It’s hard to find such exceptional restaurants that match that old style flavor that I miss! Definitely recommend Mama Nina’s to everyone especially those missing that old style tastes we loved when we were kids from Grandma! Service was pleasant and atmosphere was welcoming as well for any occasion be it business or bringing the family to enjoy, Definitely looking forward to returning soon to enjoy some more dishes from them! I apologize for the empty plate pic the garlic bread was so delicious it was quickly devoured by everyone so quickly before I was able to take a pic of it! lol

If you like garlic, you will love Mama Nina’s. This Italian restaurant located in Downtown Bethlehem Pa has some pretty good Italian food. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs which had a very rich sweet tasting sauce which is excellent with the soft meatballs. We also had the lobster raviolis and shrimp scampi which were good too. The service OK and we gave it a four star because the food is a bit over saturated with garlic and the table seating is a bit tight inside. There is outside seating which is more spacious. This is a must visit when in Bethlehem.

Nice BYOB Restaurant. We came during Musikfest so we chose to eat outside so we could enjoy the music along with our meal. The service was excellent the staff was attentive and friendly.

Came to dine in around 7pm and glad that they are still open. Customer service is great eventho they are already tired by their looks they still attended to our needs and served the food graciously. We ordered the appetizer crispy calamari and tastes good. The initial food served was bread with garlic was good too. It was very garlicy! For the entrée I ordersd the Mama Nina’s Angel Hair Gorgonzola and it was sumptuos! Serving was abundant that it was quite hard to finish. My friends ordered chicken parmigiana and same, it was too much to handle but taste so good. Another was the Salmon garden salad. It was great too. We all went home with a happy tummy. Thanks to the staff for serving us courteously and preparing our delicious dinner.

The food was good and the service was great but it was quite a bit more expensive than I was expecting. It was $53 for an entree, and appetizer and two drinks before tip!
