We picked Carl’s at random from the map & what a pick it turned out to be. The food was delicious, generously portioned that left you full without feeling stuffed. There was something about the pizza sauce that made me want to take a gallon of it home! I had the fish filet sandwich, hubby had the pizza, kids did the spaghetti and meatballs. We also munched on a plate of fries that were simple, yet the best we’ve had in a long time. The staff were also very friendly & incredibly helpful. Definitely going to be making a stop the next time we’re in the area.

Carl’s corner has been a milestone in my hometown area for over 50 years. My mother worked there in about 1969, and they had the best chicken and pizza I’d ever tasted. I just had chicken there on Saturday Oct 26, 2022, and it was still the best chicken I’ve ever tasted! My cousin had pizza and said it was Delicious as well! Prices are very reasonable, portions are very generous, and our server was smiling and friendly. So, if you find ourself on the highway between New Ulm and Sleepy Eye MN, do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner and a beverage! It’s well worth the stop!

Was working in New Ulm and Carl’s was recommended. I have to say that as a Southern man that Carl’s broasted chicken was perfect. From the crispyness of the skin to the seasons that ran all the way through the meat. Paired it with their made in house vinegar cole slaw. Im a huge cole slaw fan and this is definitely in my top 2 for this style slaw. I can taste why Carl’s is all the hype…this place delivers. Great Job to the staff and owners. I will be back and it’ll be a repeat performance for me for sure.
