Simple but great food. This place uses a 100 year old recipe for their sandwich spreads. I tried the egg salad BLT and a pimento cheese sandwich ( grilled) and my wife tried a chicken salad sandwich on wheat. We shared a potato salad side. I really like the potato salad because it has an unusual zing that comes from what I think is a hint of clove.if I had to choose just one sandwich it would be the grilled pimiento and cheese sandwich.

I came into the city of Columbia SC with little time between arrival and my next presentation. I needed to bring lunch for about 10 people. Pizza is always easy but at 10:30am with an 11:30am training time it wasn’t as easy as it sounds. The pizza places I past on the way weren’t open at 10:30am and at 11:00am little time left to order, make, and be on time.

This place was a total letdown. Food was horrible and the service was even worse. Ordered the club and only received 2 total slices of meat (one ham one turkey). The sandwich was overwhelmed with bread, lettuce, and tomato (plus way too much honey mustard). The soup is straight out of a Campbells soup can. Save your money and taste buds and go to McAlister’s Deli about 2 minutes away. What a disappointment!

Best grilled cheese and PB&J in town. Get some pasta salad too. If you like Cole slaw, then this is also the place to have lunch. Another nice touch is they have awesome sweet tea and serve Coke products. Clean and plenty of room to eat, but parking can get tight. Don’t forget they do Catering. Stop in for lunch
