A fantastic local joint serving amazing breakfast menu items. I’m told lunch/dinner is equally amazing, and people rave about the tenderloin and gravy! The staff was very personable and friendly. I had a JC Biscuit, a combination of eggs, bacon, and sausage, which was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this Mom&Pop’s to anyone traveling through Kinston.

Good food, great service and fast. Whenever any employee walked by they made sure to check on us and ask us if we need anything, that is great service from the restaurant as a whole rather than on one individual server. The place was well kept and clean and everyone was friendly and hospitable. Food came out quick and was delicious, my Omelette was huge! Great breakfast joint to try out.

There is a guy who works there with a beard he is rude and racist…he talked really ugly to me after we spent lots of money with them. He rushed me as if my business was not as important as others !!!! Overall I had a bad experience in the restaurant. I have been here for lunch quite a few times and have not had problems with my food but the one time I come for breakfast it was disgusting sausage was very burnt and dry and my grits tasted scorch ….. I’m not one to complain because I don’t like giving my food back to be redone because I don’t trust people therefore I ate what I could but I realized that today was my last time visiting this cafe… For my visit today I rate one star and I choose to move on

I try and go there a least once a week. The owner is friendly and food is good. It is a little overpriced. Went today ordered my food and the waitress never returned to my table. Thank goodness for the sweet help in the kitchen, she was my waitress. I will continue to go but hopefully the waitress will do a better job next time.
