Vintage Public House is unlike any other bar/restaurant in Redding. We are the only craft cocktail bar in town with 16 bottles of wine on tap, and a rotating craft beer selection. As for the food, we have a collaborative group of talented chefs working together to create the most delicious plates in town. Our menu has many fan favorites as well as rotating specials. We do everything from burgers to high end steaks and fish, and fusion cuisine. We know no limits when it comes to creativity. We invite you to come down and give us a try.

Visited this hole in the wall restaurant/bar at new year eve and had a wonderful experience. The waitress was very welcoming from start to finish. She showed us the menu, answered any questions and told us the specials. I ordered the classic burger and poke nachos. The presentation, taste and price was very reasonable. Shout out to the chef! Service was super slow tonight. We waited over 10-15 minutes for drinks. Cocktails are pricey, about 15 bucks a pop which is ok if they are something remarkable. The old fashioned was my favorite and their wine list is decent. My wife’s salmon was under cooked and still had pink in it. I just ordered some tacos. Ended up getting out of there for just under 100 bucks before a tip for 3 drinks, a salmon dinner and 3 tacos. Probably wouldn’t come back to this place.

Food and service was excellent. Trendy place with nice outdoor seating. Food was outstanding and portions were wonderful. I would definitely come back here again. Highly recommend the shrimp rice bowl with extra sauce. That sauce is delicious!

First time visiting Vintage Public House. We walked through the door and were immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to a table. The decor of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Menus, including a drink menu, were provided. It didn’t take long for our server to arrive and drinks were ordered. After drinks arrived we ordered our food. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. Large plates, with large portions, well presented, in my opinion. The food tasted good, with good flavors and was served at an appropriate temperature. We had ordered the Cab Burger with Garlic Fries, Tofu bowl and Black Berry habañero street tacos. We enjoyed the drinks and the food. Now the not so great part. We arrived shortly after 5. So, as we drank and ate, the restaurant got busier. Unfortunately, our server had to attend to several other tables, including a group of ten. We also had 3 friends join us. Due to the busyness of the restaurant, we noticed there wasn’t enough servers for the full restaurant. We waited well past 20 minutes to get one glass of water for our three additional friends. Then another 20 for two more glasses of water to arrive. By this time, we had decided that it was not going to be enjoyable to continue our visit, so we asked for our check. Seems things could have gone better. I wasn’t able to try their great looking dessert, as I didn’t want to wait the already unacceptable time to order it. I don’t blame our server. It should be the Manager’s responsibility to ensure customers are being taken care of in a timely manner. That didn’t happen. I understand the limits of the current condition of personnel shortages. Seems a Saturday night should have a full staff. If not, there should be limits on the available tables to allow proper service for the customers. I haven’t decided if I will give Vintage another opportunity for my patronage.

Amazing food and drinks, great service, nice atmosphere, and dogs are welcome on the patio. I got the Orangecello drink, and the Gin with elderberry. My boyfriend had the Limoncello, and the NY sour. Dinner was crispy chicken pear salad and the Cab burger. For the burger we had asked for medium but it came out more like medium-well, and so next time we will tell them medium-rare just to be on the safe side. Otherwise everything was great!
