Friendly service. I sat at the counter which was comfortable with plenty of room. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and it was amazing. That is all. Lol. The sourdough toast was extremely delicious too and It was a thicker cut not typical at most diners. They have a separate bar area for adults which would have been fun 10 years ago. I will definitely be back!

Breakfast here was magically delicious. Everything’s was cooked perfectly and we both mud yum noises as we ate. The coffee was also top notch.

Awesome spaghetti & garlic bread. Amazing Clam chowder…. the vibe is retro 70’s plush red vynil. Marina, Amy and all the Lulu’s staff take great care of everyone, as they are polite, professional and offer with worthy menu recommendations. They say the fish & chips are amazing so i’ll try those upon my return to Redding. I didn’t want to leave. Bring your friends and family and Enjoy!

Pamela was awesome. New to the area. French dip was the bomb. Landscape was beautiful. Good old fashioned dinner with impeccable customer service from Pamela.

I know ya’ll know somebody that a restaurant like this will remind you of. It is reminiscent of a diner in Eureka, CA called Stanton’s that is now an expired icon of said city. It is full of old people and the occasional oddball (like myself) who wants to eat dinner at 5:30 p.m.. I ordered the halibut with green beans and rice pilaf. The fish was sturdy and flaky yet still moist. The green beans were flavorful and still had the crunch like they should. The rice pilaf was.. rice pilaf. It was good for someone who doesn’t normally like it. The coffee was kept hot and the water came cold. Lil’ Lulu (iykyk ) was my server and she was awesome! She was very friendly and attentive to all who came in. Garbed with a cartoon cat apron…. she made me feel as though I was in the right place. It’s a pretty chill environment: walkers, canes, and weirdos are all welcome. Don’t pass it up as it is a little tricky if you haven’t been here before. P.S. Compliments to the chef and those behind the scenes.

This place has real food. Real people with wonderful hospitality. We live far away, but if we lived close, I would probably be a regular here. Ginger was our server. Table of 12 people, some of us were a little on the rowdy side, and 5 of us were kids. Ginger handled us graciously! Everything came out exactly as we ordered. It’s a rarity for that kind of service. And the food was amazing, another rarity. Check this place out. You won’t regret it!

We chose to sit on the coffee shop side for dinner since it was quieter than the bar side, and it was very nice! The food was decent, certain items are better than others but its about what you expect from a diner. The service was excellent, though, with very friendly servers who take good care of you.

Lulu’s is one of the places my husband and I stop when we visit Redding or surrounding areas. With that being said this last visit was subpar. We both didn’t like the burgers we had this visit. I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband ordered the bacon and blu. The burger I had was flavorless in which I was waiting for the waitress to ask if I needed anything I would have added bbq sauce to make it better, my husbands came out over cooked. We have never had this issue before for I am hoping it was just a bad day. I will praise you all for your fries though they are my favorite fries from any restaurant. Thank you for your time.

I didn’t realize this restaurant was so popular. We had about 16 people meet there for breakfast after our class reunion the night before. The food was good, and the service was great.

Food is good so far, did not like the potatoes salad however. Takes a but to be seated and order and get your food but definitely a good place to stop by. I enjoyed the ambiance at both sides and the waiters and waitresses were super nice! The second time I was there the waitress and myself got miedo up about what I was trying to order and got the wrong plate. She was super nice about the mixup and switchef it right up. Definitely a place to check out
