Here I was, An outsider in a new town lookin for a good bite to eat. Pulled into Fish Tales Bar & Grill, Was met with a welcoming smile and greeting, seated promptly. After browsing a wide variety of foods including ; Burgers , Fries ( the good kind) , Sandwiches, Pizza, salads and soups and appetizers galore!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Every time we have stopped here on our way back from up north, we have had a great experience. The food is really fantastic (garlic Mayo burger and tots), beer selection is really good (draft IPAs and more), and the service is always above and beyond. The place is super clean and always welcoming. Great local business to try if you’re in the area.

My wife had the BLT and she said it was adequate. It comes with a mayo packet. I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and it was just ok. It was unfortunate that our waitress decided to wear a Trump baseball hat. I feel like when I go out to eat I don’t need to be at a Trump rally. To be fair, the BLT came on cranberry bread which was delicious.

Had a great selection of beer including my favorite beer which no other bars ever have. Clean restaurant with darts, pool and pull tabs. Good variety of food and bar tender/ server was a sweetheart.

We stopped by a couple of days ago for lunch and were sorely disappointed. Chicken sandwich was like rubber. Food was very expensive for what you get. $7 bucks for a draft beer. We have stopped there years ago and really enjoyed it but won’t plan to stop again.

Great Northwoods feel in this log built bar and grill. The food is very good here. Hand pattied burgers made daily, no frozen burgers here. Homemade soups. Special’s most evenings. Bingo and meat raffles every Thursday at 7p.
