Great little cart sitting next to a great micro brewery! Depending on the night you can walk up and get food quickly or there is a wait, but worth it! We’ve only tried the Thai so can’t speak about the Vietnamese side of the menu.

Portions are great and just beautiful. The woman running the food truck when I visited was extremely sweet and with good humor. Soups are fantastic and the pineapple fried rice is 10/10

The food is good. I’m picky about Thai food after being spoiled by Seattle’s great Thai food restaurants. This family owned cart puts out great food and the front and back patios are family friendly and have beer and non-alcoholic seltzer. Chicken pad Thai and curry fried rice are

My partner and I just finished moving to the neighborhood so we we’re in the mood for some delicious food. Fortunately for us Chi’s Vietnamese & Thai Food was just a couple blocks away so we stopped on by and we were pleasantly greeted by the lady and gentlemen who works there. Their menu is easy to understand and even includes some photos of the dishes underneath! The menu is sectioned off between Thai and Vietnamese dishes so my partner and I decided to mix and match. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here, the food was well seasoned, cooked to the right temperature and so fresh. We will definitely be coming back and suggest anyone who is wanting to try something new to check these guys out!!

Got the pad see ew with tofu and it was fantastic! Wonderful flavors, extra wide noodles, and tons of delicious and perfectly cooked vegetables added as well. Got the egg rolls too and omg the best I have ever had. The cart is in the back of the lot so you might miss it (I accidentally walked past it before I realized I had missed it). Look for their sign by the curb, or just walk east into the lot and look for the opening in the fence by the main building and you will find it.

So glad we stopped in and experienced Chi’s. The owners are so nice and will tailor dishes to your needs. We are both vegan-leaning vegatarian and had no problem eating well here.

What a great little food cart! I was quite impressed by the amount of veg in the pad see ew—with bok choi no less. It was a pretty generous portion at a reasonable price. The server handed me a perfectly sweetened iced tea with lemon as I picked up my food too

Excellent new food cart in the location of the former Thai cart. They still serve Thai in addition to new Vietnamese dishes. I had the spicy ground chicken #27, and it came with a nice sauce and a fried egg on top! Try the steam buns in veggie or meat. The meat version comes with a meatball inside.

I just tried this cart for lunch, after being in North Portland for 1 1/2 years. I’m kicking myself. All those wasted months. I’m not saying this lightly. The Beef Phở broth was stunning. Not oily and very fragrant. Hà VL has my highest honor for Phở in Portland, but this is officially my second favorite. And given it’s 2 minutes from my house, I’m going to be spending a lot more money/time here. So happy to have found this place.

This place is fantastic! What a hidden gem. This is the best Thai food on the north side. Huge portions and everything is always fresh. Great mix of veggies. Everything I’ve had has been great every single time.
