The food and the atmosphere were great. We came during a football game, so it was pretty busy/rowdy. Our server was sort of everywhere, didn’t check in on us much until toward the end of our visit (my guess is trying to get a good tip for minimal service), but thankfully there was a waitress that came by our table to refill our drinks. Other than that, everything was awesome!!

Cheese steak was great value for the money and great tasting. You won’t regret ordering one and will probably get two meals from one sandwich. They were slammed with take out orders when I visited so wait was a little longer than I’d like but the staff did take pretty good care of me. Bit of a dive bar atmosphere, but for a place like this it’s all about the food and they deliver on that front.

There are two parts to Tubby Toms. One side you have a nice size dining room. The other side is a Sports bar. They also have a nice sized deck. Good food. Also get to watch all the Georgia sport teams play. NCAA football,Braves baseball and NBA games.

Pay attention to your bill. Some prices don’t match the menu. Also, they add 4%, not 3% as they claimed, to each item on your tab; but, then they discount it if you pay cash? Sounds difficult to be sure someone doesn’t skim a little off the change. Supposedly the POS system they spent “thousands” on can’t do the CC charge any other way, such as simply add the charge if you use a CC. Can’t help but wonder why they don’t do like most places and just cover the CC expense, only about $6k last year per a manager, by simply adjusting the menu prices. I remember when their other location, Little Phillies, was cash only; that would also solve the issue better than this screwy method.
