Surprisingly great place! I didn’t have high expectations coming here as restaurants in hotels tend to be overpriced for the quality you get, but the atmosphere/view was good, service was excellent and so was the food.

The hotel experience was great but the restaurant was lackluster to say the least. We stopped in after hotel check in early afternoon. Wasn’t busy at all but service was terribly slow. We ordered fish tacos and Caesar salad, it was ok but nothing spectacular. It took so long just to get water that we elected to not order a cocktail. We actually had to go track staff down to get our tab. They didn’t seem very interested in providing decent service. It was clear there were other patrons waiting and not very pleased. Maybe they were all having a bad day but it was enough for us not to want to come back.

Gold Coast Kitchen is amazing ! The atmosphere is very cool and the staff is really friendly. You can tell, making the customers happy is their main priority. I’ve been to the former Versace Mansion for dinner and I can assure you that the service, food and drinks are much better here. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tartar and for dessert, the Coconut Mango Sorbet and Key Lime Pie. All which were absolutely delicious.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel this weekend and decided to eat in, which turned out to be an excellent idea! Her Mahi tacos were juicy and flavorful and my steak tacos were superb. For dessert she had a flour less chocolate cake that was amazing and I had an Arroz con Leche with passion fruit syrup and mango sorbet which was something I’ve never had before and loved it!
