The food was good . The best was the soup. Everyone was nice. Sarge in the bar was making Everyone laugh. Our waitress was the sweetest. This place is 100 years old and it felt inviting. They gave you just the right portion size of everything. Everyone was nice that we talked to there even at the front desk when we made our reservations . We knew nothing of this place till we talked to a local shop owner and im glad we did.

Friends of mine had their wedding reception here.. All I can say is AMAZING!!!! The food was outstanding, the service was excellent!!! They took care of our party from the time we walked in until the time we left!! Jennifer and Susan were our server. They were on spot! We never had to ask for anything! They were prompt on service. Monica was outstanding as well. She helped the Bride and Groom by taking pics while everyone was enjoying their meals. She made sure the Bride and Groom had everything they needed. This was absolutely the best place in Bryson City. Thank You all for an amazing Experience!!! The Bride and Groom definitely appreciated it for sure as well!!!!

I can’t say enough great things about this place, specifically the restaurant. We had dinner a couple of times before inquiring about having our elopement dinner there. The pecan crusted trout is fantastic!! Be sure to get your steak blackened. Monica, Jennifer, Sarge & the entire staff were all amazing. They went above & beyond for us, and I imagine that’s how they treat everyone! Amazing food every time & top-notch service! You won’t be disappointed.

I’m a foodie and had really low expectations because we were in Deep Creek. The food and service here were excellent. I was really impressed. Prime rib was on point and damn good. We went with a party of seven, including four young kids. The waitress was so friendly. I have no complaints.

First thing, we noticed how rustic the restaurant was. It reminded us of being in the mountains and we were! Such a lovely place to take a long leisure dinner. Second thing, you need to be very hungry because the portions are large. Family style serving was a delight. You don’t get to pick the vegetables but what they served was tasty. Dessert was over the top! Come eat this historic restaurant!!!!

The prime rib was extremely bland, the only thing that gave it any flavor was the horseradish sauce. My wife had trout and it also had zero flavor. The sides were underwhelming to say the least. Even the dessert, hot fudge cake, wasn’t worth the calories. Very basic Betty Crocker cake mix. The berry cobbler was just mashed berries. Overpriced, unseasoned food, fair service, decent atmosphere. But I came for good food and left very disappointed.

Went on a girls weekend, and it was amazing. The bartender was a hoot! The food was absolutely delicious, we all got different dishes and shared them around. Definitely recommend the prime rib and the trout. Very accommodating for my food allergies too!

Wonderful dining experience! My husband and I made reservations to eat here and loved the food. The trout is amazing and the bread, salad, soup, and 3 sides (macaroni and cheese, lima beans and baked apples) were delicious. We each chose different desserts: I picked the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream and he picked the hot fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. We really enjoyed it and hope to eat here again next time we’re visiting the area.

Had dinner there with a group of MINI Cooper friends. The place is very nice, the food was amazing and Zach, our waiter did an outstanding job. I’m only sorry we didn’t get back for another meal before we left. But I assure you, I’ll be back!

Great classic dining spot in Bryson City. Old fashioned, good cuisine. Full wine list and good selection of cocktails and liquor at the bar. Great service. Five stars.
