Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli in Watford provides awesome food in generous portions. The quick serve food is freshly made with great ingredients. The salads have rich mixed greens and the sandwiches on high quality rolls. The food is only outdone by the friendly and courteous staff who handle the orders well and deliver food to your table with a smile.

Third time here, didn’t have great sandwiches the first two times but people kept telling me it was good so I went back. I ordered a pastrami sandwich. Basically a Reuben with pastrami instead of corned beef. It cost $11, the bread was not even grilled, it had 2 slices of meat and the cheese wasn’t melted. It was horrible. Thick slices of ungrilled bread with nothing inside and didn’t come with a side. I took it back inside to ask for my money back but nobody was in sight at the counter so I just left it there for them to see for themselves. $11 for one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had. Come to Watford City once a month or so and really enjoy this place but the last few times I come for lunch they always have a large catering order and it takes forever to get your food

First time I went here it was amazing, second time I’m not as pleased. My husband is allergic to onions so I make sure every time I get him food that I say no onions, I made an over the phone order in which I said no onions on our sandwichs and went home with our order expecting the great experience we had the first time my husband took me there. He said they were the best sandwich place he’s ever been. When I got home I opened my sandwich to check for safety precaution and there was onions not only on my sandwich but his as well. I am not very happy, but I understand they were busy. Hopefully next time they take time in their customers order.
