The phone number online didn’t work so I walked in and ordered it to go. The hostess said it would be 30min and said I could sit at the bar for some drinks while I waited. This in its self is not bad, but It was 45 minutes before anyone even asked me if I needed anything, so I just had water. The other strange part that I had to wait in line for 15 minutes before I could even pay, because “you can’t pay for you food until after you get it” so I waited in line, food in hand for 15min. The mushrooms were off. Right away. But I was starving and knew as they continued to cool from room temperature back to frozen it would just get worse. I shouldn’t have moved on to the calzone but I was hungry. Not sure if it was food poisoning or a virus but I have been paying for it all morning. I have eaten in here once before and a few times at the other location and everything was fine, but this time was way off and they should correct their to go procedures.

The family wanted to try Milano’s new location in Mt. Gilead, NC. Disappointed is the word for tonight. From the time we were seated to the time we received our entrees 59 minutes had elapsed. Fifty-nine minutes! The pizza was good although there were very few toppings. There was not one entire mushroom visible from the 3 small pieces noticed on the pizza. Hardly any sauce was beneath the few toppings and I was charged $1.00 for a small “dipping cup” of warm marinara. The kicker is that the menu states, actually two different menus, each additional topping is, “$1.00 ea…$1.25 each,” and we were charged $1.25 for each topping (see pic). Which amount is correct…the larger print or the smaller print? This is not clear, misleading, and this bad business. I pointed this out to the cashier and she did not apologize or offer to correct the issue. Do not order the side salad for $3.95 as it was not appealing and more like a $1.50 value. Between the wait, average to below average food, menu price ambiguity, and non-welcoming environment, I would NOT recommend dining at Milano’s. Save your money and time.

We went to Milano’s on New Year’s Eve around 1:15 in the afternoon. The place was not busy at all. Our waitress came and got our drink order and later our food order. After our waitress brought the appetizer and salad she went to the table next to us and sat down with the other patrons in the restaurant. We literally waited 45 minutes for our food to come out. It is amazing that as soon as our waitress stopped talking and the other patrons left, our food finally came out. We had to keep asking for our drinks to be refilled. I even moved my empty glass to the end of the table in hopes that our waitress would take note and refill it, but she kept talking to other people. The food was okay for the price ($40+ for 3 teas, cheese bread, a sandwich, veggie lasagna, and chicken parm. ) Between the price for what we got and the terribly slow service, we will not be back.

The food was great both times we have eaten there. We came at lunch on a weekday both times and the wait was not bad. They need to hire more help. Word is they are having a hard time finding good servers. I can see how the wait could be very long during busy hours.

This was my first time visiting Milano’s, was not impressed at all. There were two ladies at the front, I assume hostesses, neither one of them greeted us or offered to seat us. They were not busy by any means, it was Monday night. I had to ASK to see the menu. After being totally ignored we decided to go elsewhere so this review is based solely on customer service. I’m not sure how the food is but with a sanitation grade of 94.3, I hope it’s better than they treat customers.

I went with a friend and ate here. Had a pleasant experience overall. Apps came out first. I got cheese sticks and she got garlic knots. My sticks were good. The knots weren’t that bad but they were swimming in oil which was the one main knock i had on this place. Most breads are soaked in oil. My friend got a personal cheese pizza. I thought it had great flavor but like the knots it was swimming in oil. I had a calzone and it was great. The chicken had great flavor. Overall i think the food is good just gotta scale back on the oil a bit. Our waitress was good too. Its not a bad bite.

Need to remember to add eating utensils to take out orders. Was on my way to work, not home. Luckily I was a able to scrounge up a form and knife at my workplace out if have been eating chicken Alfredo with my fingers. Wish I had asked about a pack or two of Parmesan cheese but that’s on me for not asking. Once I found a fork the meal was very good.

This place is a joke. The food was terrible, they don’t have good wine, the atmosphere is careless and the waitstaff has clearly not been trained although, they’re very sweet. Milano’s needs either new owners or for it’s owner to WAKE UP and realize that you are needing help.
