Todays Present
We had an excellent experience here. The waitress was very sweet. The food didn’t come out very quickly and there were only 2 tables seated. I think we would have a different experience if it was busy there. The food was very delicious, especially the clam chowder. The king crab was a little chewy. I wouldn’t get that again. The wings were hot and fresh, but just okay on the flavor front. I would come just for the seafood.

I ordered on doordash so I cannot rate service or atmosphere. The food was great and plentiful. I ordered the Cajun Boil with mild heat and original Cajun seasoning. I was disappointed that mild had no spice, I didn’t want to order this delicious expensive food and it be too spicy for me to eat and throw it out so I decided on mild. Other than that the flavor was amazing and everything was cooked pretty good. The craw fish were a little over done but not by much. I also ordered 4 garlic Breadsticks which were also very good but I didn’t taste much of any garlic. I would highly recommend Hook & Reel to anyone who enjoys good seafood!

I decided to try Hook & Reel while visiting the area and I am so glad that I did. The food was amazing. The crab legs were big and the Hook & Reel seasoning is one of a kind. They were short staffed but the General Manager, Edward took care of me. From greeting me at the door, to taking my order and checking in on me while I ate. I will be back whenever I am in the area!

I purchased some food one day and I went back the next week and bought the same thing. The food was good and I’ll be back again soon, This time I’d like to dine in. Sweet potato fries could be cooked a little bit longer not too much just a little. I had the fried catfish also It was good that too could be fried a little harder.

Me and my fiance went here for the first time yesterday and the food was great definitely tasted like it was made with love the seasoning they use is perfect. Everything we got arrived hot, but we did sit and wait for over a hour just to get our first drinks/food, the system they used with the tablets didn’t put our order threw at first so our waitress came and let us know, she was very polite and friendly. So we put our order back in and shortly after we got our food our margaritas came too. The only other down side was when I went to the bathroom only one stall had toilet paper, I would just recommend they check on that a little more often so they don’t get complaints because over all I would definitely go back. Keep up the good work. 🙂

Wow! At first we were like cute place, but the menu was not familiar, but you only live once! So we got the shrimp and scallop boil with broccoli. 1 order was enough for two, and the house recommended sauce was amazing! You definitely want to try this place at least once! We will be back!

Wonderful service (our waitress Katrina(?) was amazing), our group of 5 was seated right away despite the short staffing, and the food came out very fast. Everything was amazing, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. My girlfriend and I were also surprised with cheesecake slices topped with sparklers for our birthdays that we were celebrating. Felt very welcome and had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back 🙂
