This BBQ counter located in the Toot’n Toteum is a little oasis on the way to or from TX, or if you’re in NE NM. We enjoyed the Ribs, Texas Chips, Cole Slaw and Beans while driving back to CO. The only draw back was the secret of this place is getting out, so might be a line.

It’s brand new with a huge parking lot and I mean like a block to themselves parking lot! it’s got a variety of snacks and drinks. Including Alcohol beverages from wine to ready made mixed cocktails. Their restrooms are large and clean. They also have showers if you need one. You can have your pick of hot food that is always fresh. they do not let things go bad. there is a dining area in the back as well. Alot of gas pumps with new tanks.

Great, clean place to stop for delicious BBQ. The food was fresh and service friendly. Great value for our meal and they have a clean and spacious area to sit and eat. We all ordered the chopped brisket sandwich. The portions were generous – we would definitely stop again.

This is not a BBQ joint, it’s a truck stop junk deli counter. Do not google this and think you are headed to any sort of restaurant on a road trip. It’s junk.
