Today I stopped my this cozy little place and they didn’t disappoint. The staff is very friendly, and the food is always freshly prepared and its seasoned proportionately. However, the staff has extra condiments at every table for customers who like to take it a notch.

Parts of their menu vary daily which is fun. There is always the dinner bar where the food is ready to be served. You can choose one or more entree items and one or more sides. There are also menu items that are freshly prepared for you. Those were mostly out this time so I was disappointed. My husband’s chicken was dry but he liked the fried catfish from the dinner bar. He also liked the “greens” which was cooked cabbage. We both thought the spicy macaroni and cheese was delicious. And the potatoes didn’t really look visually appealing but they did taste good. The corn bread was very dry.

This is without a doubt truly a little country diner. The staff was friendly and outstanding. Very appreciated our business. Best of all the food was the best. The catfish was tender with a flavorful batter. The zucchini snd bacon was the best I’ve ever had. It was season perfectly and I would’ve gone back for seconds if I didn’t have a full plate. The chicken was tender cooked perfection but could use a little more seasoning. Mashed potatoes and gravy were just like grandma used to make. To top it off the sweet potatoes Were truly sweet potatoes.
