Ordered a lengua taco dinner disgusting. The meat smelled very old along with the plate it was served on…like they used a dirty sponge to clean their dish. I got so nauseous i couldn’t eat anything else. A health inspector needs to go check this restaurant out. The waitress was very kind & the cashier seemed like she had an attitude. Oh well! I know my Mexican food & this was garbage. Old meat & dirty, smelly dishes!

This is a very simple place, no luxurious location, but the food is made of an old-fashioned Mexican way. The sauces are good. The horchata water drink is to die for!!! The tacos are good. Be sure you tell them not to want any fat in the steak tacos to enjoy them more, lol.. but here is the thing prices are reasonable if you like to relax and take it easy this restaurant is fine to eat.

Food was good. My only issue is that i ordered 2 tacos de asada with queso, cilantro & onions & they came plain with no queso at all! Wasn’t happy about that. Also ordered a quesadilla with asada but i expected more cheese. Please tell me where the queso is at?, cuz there was little to none at all! So disappointed because, as a previous server myself, i always made sure to double check the food before it’s given out to ensure the customer was happy & satisfied with hopes of them returning to spend more at their next visit.

I ordered 3 caldo de res. The portion size was liquid, 1/2 a small potato, and a third of a carrot with 3 small pieces of meat. No cilantro or onions and 3 quarter sized limes that were dried. I also got a black hair in one of the soups! $40 that I will never spend on them again! They offered to place more vegetables and provide the onion and cilantro. I opted out. Never going there again. Check your orders before you walk out the door. That was my second error. First was ordering from there.

I believe food should be fresh cooked and not kept on freezer for days!! It’s the worst food I ever tasted right after I left the cook took out a big bin with frozen cook taco meat just an fyi owner needs to check up on his business.. if inspection goes I can assure you they would close it right away. I just feel all food they serve it’s been sitting cooked for days. MELROSE PARK NEED TO GO AND INSPECT THE PLACE.

I was going to taconazo on North Ave in Chicago for years & would always order my Torta de Milanesa there and I wanted to give this location a try, so I ordered the same Torta de Milanesa and they were skimpy with beans and avocado & meat for what it cost no worth it compared to other location that place was always consistent every time I went there and generous with all toppings.

Very nice people. I go there every 2-3 days. I go in order, food ready in 5-10 min. Torta birria taco. You name it. Owner is very humble and has few locations. Best price, good quality and food is super good!

****WARNING***** stay away ! FOOD POISONING!!!!!!!!!!!! Poisoned my entire family !!!!!!! My daughter threw up after a few bites of burrito , sister , mother and father a few hours later, stomach pains, diarrhea and vomit and for myself it hit me later on. And to prove it, it was the only food we had for breakfast my sister woke up craving a sope and brought home that for breakfast , burritos, taco, and sope de asada smh ! Never again!
