This is a family owned authentic Mexican cuisine cafes. We were just passing through on our road trip and so glad we stopped here!!! The most delicious rice and beans in the burrito I have ever had!!!! Home made guacamole just with the right amount of spice and kick and texture for a “gringo”. A gem of a place at a very reasonable price!

This restaurant has been in the Goleta area for more than 30 years. The ribs are very juice and tender. They have a salsa bar with different levels of spiciness. Please try the grill jalapenos if you like super level of hotness. They also had a good selection of drinks from snapple to Mexican drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything we had was delicious and I absolutely want to try the tri tip next time. The food was fresh, the tortillas homemade, and the salsas spicy. One of hidden gems in Goleta. I only have one suggestion for the chefs at this restaurant, the ribs would be that much better if they removed the membrane underneath. It’s easy and quick to do, so I hope they are able to in the future. Aside from that, love this unassuming place.
