A good place for a quick lunch. The menu is simple with only handful of items. They pre prepared and ready to serve. We ordered half/half of drunken chicken/spinach mushrooms and chipotle chicken/mockshoe. Both are served with bread. Both were good. We liked them very much. The plates are not very big, I thought they were too small for lunch. But I was wrong, they were heavy. They have a layer of rice at the bottom covered with the choice of gravies which were full of butter, cream. So, it was so filling. I would visit again for a quick lunch.

Absolutely delicious food, me and my boyfriend came here last night and the mock shoe was divine! Not to mention the friendliness of the owner and the atmosphere. Will be coming back very soon!

I really enjoyed it. The etouffee deserves its status as specialty. As a fan of etouffee, this is definitely it, and the chili cheese isn’t a bad addition. The rice is fantastic, very well made. The garlic bread is a touch heavy with butter, but other than that, it’s excellent.

The guy was so rude. Tables were dirty. Outside was neglected. Too bad for first impressions. Get a new person, clean it up and have some pride. Over all food not bad. Atmosphere was a definite downer. Seriously that guy was so freaking rude. I greeted him no response. Wow.

What the hell happened? This place is one my favorites, then all of a sudden there are new employees, pride flag was taken down, music sucks, and the food is more expensive. To add insult to injury, I picked up a vegan white chili to go, and found they screwed up and gave me the chicken white chili.

I went with the Half/Half chipotle chicken and white chicken chili. The chipotle didn’t have a big impact on flavor as I was hoping for, but the White chicken chili was extremely good. I opted for extra bread, and I am glad I did. The bread was toasted and complemented both meals perfectly. I really enjoyed the music that was played, it’s refreshing to hear hard rock. If I was in Columbus again I would most likely comeback.
