Small but mighty – the service was friendly and if you’re undecided they will help you to choose. Had two dishes; chicken fajitas and a combo platter (tostada, enchilada and chile relleno) with vegetarian green chili. The drink is a vampiro (basically grapefruit soda, sangria and tequila). Everything was fresh and tasted great.

Really delicious! So glad we stopped by. Vegetarian options. The cheese enchilada, chili relleno, and vegetarian green chili were so good! Our server on the evening of 11/4/22, was attentive, ensured our food was prepared as requested, and acknowledged it was taking a little bit for the food to come out of the kitchen, and comped us for it. As the only server in the place, she was killing it! Enjoyed the cocktails.

Server was kind although she didn’t speak Spanish I had to order for some family, but that’s okay. The food was bad. Chips stale, salsa like tomato paste, beans from a can. Prices weren’t bad so I’m glad we gave it shot. Won’t be returning especially with all the great Mexican food in the area.

Really good! Very friendly staff. Homey little place, like a diner: the kind I would go to on a regular basis Unbelievably inexpensive two item combination plate for $10! Not a heavy meal like Mexican can sometimes be. The red enchilada sauce was super tasty. I highly suggest the *crispy* chili, relleno; never even seen it on a menu before it was great.

The service was fine, nothing bad there. The salsa was definitely a no go for me, but too the chips were stale. The mild “chile” had no flavor & looked like jelly in a bowl. I would not recommend for a decent mexican restaurant.

Don’t let the outside deter you. Some awesome food, service was nice, would stop here anytime. (I ordered the el grande burrito but requested no sauce)

How this restaurant has good reviews I would ?. A small group of us ate here. The chips and salsa were below average. The margaritas were the worst we all had ever had. We all wondered if there was even any alcohol??? The food was average or below. The place was not not that clean. Not a pleasing experience at all. AND then out of a group of 4, three of us got food poisoning.

I wasn’t able to get the food I ordered a few days ago because the restaurant closed early but the owner was very responsive and gave me my money back right away. She was very kind and apologetic about the whole situation. I ended up ordering food again and it was delicious!

We decided to try a the spot that took over Tia Maria’s off 72nd and Pecos. Food was good, also you can’t complain when you get free chips and salsa with your takeout meal. I had a breakfast burrito with bacon, wife had the Menudo and my son had pancakes. I would come back for the breakfast. My only complaint was the bacon and eggs were a little over cooked.
