Will never go again, they strong arm you about the tip. I gave a tip to the Chef and the waitress that was over 15 percent combined, and than the waitress complained to me that her share wasn’t enough…I saw them do it to someone else while I was there and a friend told me they did the same to him…NEVER AGAIN

I was in Poughkeepsie on vacation. And I was in the mood for some hibachi. So I found Kobe hibachi. Prices are a bit high, but it is hibachi. My chef was very talented and funny . It was an amazing experience. The food tasted soooo good. If you are ever in the mood for hibachi and you are in pughkeppsie. Go to Kobe Hibachi. It’s highly recommended.

The service that we received from our bartender Li Coco was THE BEST I’ve ever encountered at ANY restaurant establishment. We drove 3.5 hrs to get here and it was worth the trip. Oh yeah… the food was AMAZING!!!

This place is amazing. The food was 10/10 even the “table” hibachi was 10/10 – usually when I sit at a table instead of the hibachi area the food is not as good as the fresh hibachi – but this place it tasted fresh too! The sushi was really good , we’re from out of town and get sushi all around and this place was tied for our favorite. Our server was very nice and attentive. Loved it !

Do not come here! I did take out – 2 rolls plus soup & salad. Soup tasted watered down. I found a piece of green onion that still had dirt on it. Lettuce on salad was brown. Dressing very watery. Salmon on salmon roll was tough and stringy. I called for a refund and was told that they can’t refund my card and could only give me a free edamame when I go back. I won’t go back!!! The grocery store sushi is better than this place.
