The calamari is gluten free. It tasted good but was too salty. Next time I’ll ask to hold the salt.

A sheet of music as you gaze over the list of notes to select from. Especially if you bend your Pallet on the bourbon side of things.

For starters, the selecting of the bourbon for my old fashion took longer than expected. Due to a lost if multiple selections worth indulging in. Finally decided to do the rabbit hole. This savory sip slide into the start of the meal with a cheese tray, Brussel sprouts, and a crab dip that was surprisingly better than most I’ve indulged in. Points to Delaware for winning that over Maryland and Maine! Everyone in the private wedding party got crab cakes and filet mignon. The kids got chicken tenders and the bacon wrapped Bison blend Meatloaf. The sides were delicious and the whole meal was attentively done by great staff!

Three times a charm! We had tried to eat here 2x before. Once in January but they did not have prime rib every day, one time for lunch, made reservations online only to find when we arrived that they were closed for lunch. Friday night was our 3rd attempt. Food was really good everyone was satisfied with their meal. I had the crab cakes, they were good but a little small for the price and each bite had little bits of shell in them. Not that a piece of shell does not happen occasionally but this was a bit excessive. The mac and cheese was delicious! My husband had the prime rib and he loved it! I understand they are open for lunch now so hoping to return in the future. We are locals.

Anyone who has spent time at the French Laundry usually has some culinary skills. Definitely enjoyed some next level food here as well. The food was cooked perfect with great flavors and its the little details with each dish that elevate the chef in my opinion. Shishito peppers, buffalo meatloaf and mushroom risotto all were great. My only complaint was the larger portion sizes made us too full for dessert. That is a good complaint!

The waitress had great timing throughout the meal. The menu had nice options that were not completely usual. The food was obviously cooked with care. We had calamari, dove, venison, and filet mignon. We were sat and served a great meal with nice service. This was one of the nicest dining out meals I have ever had. It was worth the money! 100% Highly recommended for a special meal out.

The Mother’s Day brunch was fantastic! The buffets were loaded with all the usual brunch suspects. All were delicious, but my plate was full of small portions of everything BEFORE we got to the room where they had a beautiful lay out of different kinds of seafood! All of the food was amazing!

We had a wedding at the Counting House on February 23rd 2019. It was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and fun!. Miguel did a wonderful job coordinating everything. Garth did a great job getting us set up with rooms for some of our guest. The rooms are just lovely!! William Clifton, the chef shucked oysters as well as preparing an amazing meal. It was a perfect wedding!!!

I got take out, and thus didn’t get a good waitress, pretty surroundings, and a great cocktail and my fries were sad and limp when I got them home. The rest was nice. The calamari were perfect. I had a catfish po’ boy that was stuffed right, crunchy, good bread. The best were the shrimp and grits. I learned grits in Florida, and I lived in a Cajun woman’s house where I put 30 lbs on in 30 days, she would have approved of your etouffe. There’s no leftovers, only some fries to throw out. I did split this with 2 other people, not trying to do the pound a day thing again. They were happy diners too.

Had a nice time here. The food was really good I thought. I had the venison dish to try something newer to me. It was quite tasty and served with rice mixed with vegitables. I shared a crab dip w/my friends. It had more crab in it than what you get with most crab meat places and served with pita bread. I had some icecream for desert which was really good too. The restaurant is pretty big inside and has a nice cozy feel to it. Overall I had a nice time there.
