This place is kind of a hole in the wall place but the food was great. It tasted home made. They have fantastic sweet potatoes casserole, good green beans and great fried shrimp. The coconut cake tasted home made and was the best desert I have had in a while. Also everyone that was at the restaurant from the owner to the customers wete so friendly. This place felt like home. You have to try it.

I have driven by this place numerous times and always said I will stop next time. It was well worth the stop. I went for lunch and the place was packed. The special was brisket sandwich. It was delicious, the portions were perfect. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and had a great demeanor. Well worth the trip. I will go back.

As I was headed to my destination in SC my mind was anticipating the supper to come. Thru an 18 minute delay on the interstate and then rain, my mouth was watering for what was to come. As I walked in the place was packed. I got the last seat available and so happy I did. Philly cheese steak and fried orka did NOT disappoint . And to top it off blueberry lemon cake. Wow! If you have not been to the Fillin Station you are missing out. I was so hungry I forgot to take a pic of my food but this was the dessert. It was so good! If you haven’t been you are missing out..

Food was outstanding but the service was the slowest in my life. Hour and five minutes to get a burger then had to go to the counter to pay because the waitress never brought the check back. Definitely not a place to stop for lunch if youre working.

A bustling little diner that offers a vast array of burgers. Had the fried flounder poor boy and the portion of the fish was hearty and everything just came together for the perfect po’boy. This nails the small town diner feel and was packed with locals. Can’t wait to get back there.

My favorite place to eat in the low country! Love the variety of daily specials, & the nostalgic atmosphere is like a neat Route 66 car diner. They are super friendly even when they are busy. The sweet tea is really good & I don’t have to ask for refills. They cook to order & you can tell they care about quality. Their menu has something for everyone, & most plates are more than filling, even on the hungriest of days. There is also always a wide array of desserts, & they are never short on smiles.

Talk about retro cool. A local hometown feel that brings you back to the good old 1950’s diner motif. Good old fashioned burgers, fries, sweet tea, mac and cheese. I went with the Reuben special and it was super yummy. Must try the fried pickles, the Mac was creamy and the burgers solid. Ask for Jill, she was a gem and treated us like gold.
