Gangnam has a more intimate ambience and refined presentation that sets it aside from the AYCE restaurants. The quality of the meats are noticeably better. Even their salad tastes unique; the dressing has light floral taste to it. Also worth mentioning is that they use charcoal as well as gas which is always a plus. The set for 2 was more than enough for me and my friend. The service was also very good. Well worth the price and a proper successor to the former Bornga.

Best Korean BBQ in California!! All food was superb. All side dishes, cold noodles, soybean paste stew, steamed egg, nurungi and even sikhye for dessert are the most delicious. It’s not enough to give 5 stars for the pleasant environment and friendly service.

I was looking for a good nengmyeun place in the neighborhood and came across this place. The small bowl of nengmyeun was just $9 with a big portion but best of all, great tasting. Additionally, atmosphere was lively and service was great.

It’s been a while since I had a good dinner. I felt that the quality of the meat was much better than other BBQ restaurants. I ate spicy cold noodle with ribs, and I was surprised that they went so well together.

Was late to dinner night and luckily found this gem! We got in at 9:55 pm before last call. Ordered two meats and was very fresh and good quality. The side dishes were on and they refilled without asking too! The service was very pleasant and didn’t feel rushed. In talking with them I learned they just opened in December and so will be back to support the business!

My old friend took me to this place for dinner. We asked for Hanrasan soju, but they didn’t have any. But the waitress Kelly recommended Ilpoom soju instead. We tried it, but didn’t like it. She immediately took it away, and replaced with another brand. She didn’t charge the one that we didn’t like. The meat was tender without much fat. The waitresses helped BBQing, and they occasionally replaced the grill. Thanks to Kelly for her super duper service. I’ll definitely come back.
