I used to come here years ago. I was disappointed to find that the ownership had changed. But, Thank GOD, the food hasn’t! That smoked flavor throughout the meat, the sides are tasty and I can’t say enough about the Texas toast (It’s a Texas thing). And their prices won’t break the bank. The new owners are holding up the tradition well.

This is the only place that serves rib tips in sandwich form (or in any form from what I’ve noticed). Sometimes one just has the urge to engage their inner carnivore and get the grubbing and gnawing on, so the rib tips are my go-to item when I pass through the area. While I rarely finish the meal due to the large portions, it’s nice to know that I can enjoy the food for a while longer as leftovers.
